Almost 50, recent weight loss so skin on tummy not as smooth as it might be, so I don't really want to expose my midriff.
I am a good swimmer, don't like frills/embellishments, so would prefer a 'sporty' style. What do you think of this?

I used to own a really nice Speedo tankini some years back, but all I can find now is terminally frumpy.

Any ideas, MNMassif? thanks

It depends. Do you need support for boobs?

Sports Direct had togs for up to 70% off this week. There were a few brand name sporty tankinis for £10-15. Total bargain.

Well, yes, some support needed blush. 32 E-F.
I still have some v simple Speedo swimsuits with are fine to swimming lengths, but I'd rather not parade myself around a pool in them. I might take somebody's eye out grin

This is right up my street, but not in stock in my size

Off to look at SportsDirect - thanks for the idea, I had not thought of them!

I like the ombre effect. Definitely not frumpy. Although I would prefer thicker straps, personally.

Asda swimsuit
I have last year's version of this and it's lasted as well as my usual Zoggs ones. I swim twice a week and like the tummy control. I'm 32f. If it's frumpy, please tell me!!

At those sizes I'd look into a more specialist shop.

My breasts would be leaning towards the waist in those one pieces without inner support. A good top with a good fit allows you to do all the swiming and diving you want without danger. smile

Lands end have a really good selection of one pieces and tankinis. Its not particularly cheap, but the stuff lasts for ages and seems pretty UV and chlorine proof.

I had a really good sporty swimsuit from Panache. Was underwired too.

Damn you for making me go on the Land's End site - I bought this one. Not cheap, but had a discount code too. There also seems to be a dress that found itself into my my bag
Also got a v simple Speedo suit from SportsDirect so am sorted.

Thank you all thanks
