26 With Wrinkles and Grey Hair...Anyone Else?

Hi, I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place but here goes...so I'm 26 years old and I have, not loads, but a fair few deep set lines on my face especially on my forehead and around my eyes...I also have a LOT of grey hair, not just one or two I'm talking a LOT all over my head. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with these things, I know they're an inevitable part of life, I just didn't expect them to show up so soon! I was just wondering has anyone else experienced this? Or am I aging before my time?? Confused

Not a lot too offer really. Has your forehead been in the sun a lot. I'm 64 and nearly always had a fringe so mines not too bad.

I started getting some greys about 4 years ago but still quite brown. I've not smoked or drank much.

I've worn well but there's no way I don't look like a woman in my 60s. I eat healthily, drink plenty of water, nourish my skin with creams.

Not a lot else you can do unless you want to go down Botox and filler route.

You could have your hair restyled so it sweeps across your forehead and dyed. That always perks you up a bit.

I've noticed among my friends (twenties) we all have some fine lines, some more than others, and I have a friend with black hair & noticeable grey. I've noticed more crinkling when I smile from about 17! I think it's totally normal especially with pollution, stress, drinking etc.

I knew a man who started going grey at 16 and was grey all over by his 20s. It's just the way it is for some people. 28, had dd at 26 and she was a terrible sleeper and still isn't great and I have really seen it on my skin. I can wrinkles starting to appear and it is scary. I think it is normal though op. Cake

My DP started getting grey hairs and wrinkles at 25 and now he is 29. At first they really got to him but he embraces it now and it does really suit him

oh and assuming you're a woman - we should be grateful that we've so much less chance of getting receding hairlines! And if we do get them it's not likely to progress as quickly or as much.
I always thought it started around your forties but loads of guys at uni, so 18-22, are receding a bit or a lot, I feel bad for them because it seems so young.
well, I'm hanging onto this as a source of comfort, at least Wink

Thanks for the replies everyone, at least I am not alone with this I guess. It's kind of frustrating because I eat quite healthily, don't smoke or drink alcohol, exercise daily, don't spend time in the sun without sunscreen or at least SPF make up and here I am looking like this. I did have DS 8 years ago and he didn't sleep at all for 3 years and didn't make it to sleeping through the night until he was 5, that's a lot of sleep loss and has got to be a contributing factor I guess Grin dread to think what I will end up looking like if I have more kids lol Confused

I have frown lines on my forehead, a few lines around my eyes and a few grey hairs but the one that bothers me most is that I have grey eyebrows Confused

I'm 26 and have always looked really young for my age. I got ID'd for the lottery up having DD (she's two) and I think it's all caught up on me at once. A new work colleague asked how old I was and I joked '42' and she just accepted it but when my other colleague told her she was 30 she told her she looked a lot younger. I was mortified!

No real wrinkles yet (I'm 32). I do drink a lotHowever, I have a decent amount of grey hair, which started when I was 15 Hmm.

At first, it was a small patch at the front, but now it extends all the way back! I get my hair coloured every five weeks.

I'm 29, I have loads of grey hair. I've come to accept I'll never be a brunette as the grey would show through so quickly, so I just keep on top of my highlights.

I've also noticed over the last year, stubborn lines on my forehead that don't go away. I haven't been great at skincare routine so have upped my game now. I use the no7 stuff for prevention, including a serum.

I'm going for a consultation in April for Botox, I haven't made my mind up yet but think it will help with my confidence after a really hard few years.

Like you, I never expected the greys and fine lines quite so soon.

'I do drink a lot' should read 'I do drink a lot of water' Blush.

At 37 weeks pregnant, it's about all I can drink!

I got my first grey hair at 17. My natural hair colour is very dark brown so my greys show up a lot. I started dying my hair probably at about 24 as that's when it got noticeable. My hair grows really fast too :(. I'm 33 now and doing ok wrinkle wise but I do drink a lot of water which I think helps.

I'm 30 and had grey hair at 24 ! Can totally relate to the ID thing I used to get asked for ID all the time until last year I seemed to age overnight now got wrinkles under my eyes and it hurts ! I blame it on moving jobs and also a lot of stress over infertility as none of the other woman in my family are wrinkly at all even my gran who's 84. Always searching for a miracle eye cream but nothing works
