I've never bought a dress from here, but know lots of people rave about them.

Just having a quick look at the sale section and decided I had to buy this dress because it's so darned cheap!

If it's horrible on me it can go back.

OH said 'I'll get you that for Vals day if you like?' He was happy as it only came to £11.99 with p&P Grin

I like them. I thought no you have to be careful not to go down the cliched 50's styling, petticoats and victory rolls. Unless of course that's the look you are aiming for.

I have a couple of lady v dresses and they are great for summer dresses.

Sorry, off topic, but what does that mean when the link says webgains' when I click on it?

Wow, what a bargain, very tempted to get a 10 as a goal dress once I loose the rest of this weight. Bit unsure though as I'm 5 ft 2?

I'm not planning on wearing any frilly petticoats with it..in fact I have no requirement for it at all! It's just so cheap and I have read lots of ladies on here saying they love LB.

I've hankered after a lindy bop dress for ages, so have just ordered one. Thanks op

How can it be so cheap? It's not even polyester!

I'm not a fan of the dresses for me, but I do like this

I don't think it suits the model though, and looks better in the photos unworn!

There sale prices are very good, genuine reductions.

Oh that's pretty :) Not my size, which is probably best for the sake of my wallet.

Whatdo - it's advertising tracking, nothing to worry about - someone, somewhere, is getting money for the fact that a link on mumsnet drove traffic to the Lindybop site. I assume either MN or Lindybop work with Webgains, who are a company that specialise in bringing in webtraffic through online advertising.

That's what I thought Dick

Figured at £11.99 it's worth a punt! And the reviews for it are all good.

I'd wear the pyjamas! They're only £8.99!

I just bought a couple of Lindy Bop dresses in the sale - one was called Arlene, bright red Jackie O style, one in burgundy jersey with a full skirt and bardot neck. Total just over twenty quid.

Lovely quality, great fit. I wore them with opaques and ankle boots to avoid the fancy dress look and I had so many compliments on both. Very impressed.

I bought a Lindybop dress last summer, encouraged by the positive comments on here, the natural fabric and the hope it would suit a 5'8 hourglass like me.

Sadly disappointed. Frock had to be returned. The 32G norks meant the 'waistline' rose to nearer an Empire line, the skirt was too short and the overall look was just dumpy.

I bought one as it is breastfeeding friendly, but I have a long body, and the dress doesn't so it just doesn't sit well. Shame, I love the style.

The quality is very hit and miss. I've sent several things back due to awful thready seams or broken zips.

I've bought 4 dresses over last 6 months and the quality was good. Far exceeded my expectations considering the low price.

I love the look of the clothes when pictured on the website, but when I went to Google blog pictures of people wearing them out in RL they more often than not look like badly-made fancy dress costumes.

Let me know what the quality is like in person, OP.
