so I've never worn a dress......

Yes, never, as an adult. I have some rare nights out planned. Very tired of wearing my same 2 pairs of jeans with a different too. Decided to buy a dress as I like the idea.

So the dress is short ish, and kind of baggy, not fitted if you know what I mean. I think it would look great with some scrappy high heel type shoes, for a wedding type event. In the summer.

BUT, I want to know how to dress it down for a casual dinner out, or even for day time use. I will need to wear tights, because my legs are chunky and pale. And because it's winter, obvs. I don't have much in the way of shoes, and need to know what to buy. What kind of shoes do you wear with tights?! Boots? But won't they make my legs look chunkier??? So you see why I don't wear dresses, too confusing for me!

Help or advice anyone?

Hope I've attached it correctly. Obviously I'm not as thin as the model in the picture. Size 16-18

so I've never worn a dress......

For dressy evening I would say dark tights or leggings. High shoes or boots and a chunky necklace or long earrings.

I really like it too! I would wear it as described above with opaque tights & high heeled ankle boots! Infact I want to wear it exactly like that tonight! Smile Where is it from OP? Please!
