You know when even the model looks a bit rubbish in something?

A couple of examples in the new Boden catalogue:

In the denim ones her legs look as if they have an extra joint mid-calf, and the white flares, well, it just reminds me why I haven't worn white jeans since 1995.

The white ones are hideous on her. On anyone I imagine

Crikey... Those white jeans Shock

I think the white ones look good on her. I don't like the half mast look.
Too reminiscent of the pedal pushers I was forced to wear in the 70's, one step removed from leder hosen

Agree. Go and look on the M&S website for some really unimpressed models. The Per Una model looks bemused and disgusted in equal measure.

The model in the white jeans has very cold feet is my guess! They look frozen!

Those white jeans have more than a whiff of the Anthea Turner....

A helpful guide I find.

Bugger I liked the yellow coat.
Then saw it came in navy and preferred that.
Then saw it was £199 and put the mag in the recycling.

I like the yellow coat and cropped wide leg jeans look.

In fact I'm looking for a pair at the moment so those will go on my 'think about purchasing' list.

Try Zara niminy they had wide legs galore last week.

Grin is that the perfume she's launched "whiff of anthea turner"?

A bodysuit. With stripes. And a weird cutout to better reveal you spotty back

What is wrong with that first model's right calf? It looks like it's bent...or is it an optical illusion caused by the trousers? (Her right, left in the picture IYSWIM).

What is it with all the harrumphing round here at the moment? It feels like Richard Littlejohn has taken over Style and Beauty. It's just fashion. None of it compulsory.

I KNEW that this thread was about the new Boden catalogue before I opened it.

I've just been sitting looking through it with my DD (8). She declared most of it 'ugly' or 'boring' and I can't say I disagree.

i only liked two things in the whole catalogue. Sad

That picture with the White jeans looks like they couldn't find any kind of footwear that actually looked right with them so the stylist just gave up.

When I was looking through the catalogue I couldn't decide whether they'd suddenly started using a couple of plus sized models for a change, or if the clothes were just really, really unflattering ...

Oh, I liked a dress and a bag... Blush and loads of DC stuff (pricey though!)

The jeans look v odd in that pic.

Whistles models look utterly constipated and bored. Puts me right off, and I used to love shopping there.
