You get what you pay for - those of you that have had colour disasters when going back to blonde - my experience

After several hair colour (hairdresser applied) disasters I grew out my colour. It took three years but I have been using wash outs - one pack no mix temporary colour to blend in my mid brown hair.
Well I decided to bit the bullet and go to a salon I knew could do the business - one I went to a decade ago but is a good 20 mile drive away - and they did. The colourist explained that the only thing that would lighten my mid brown hair successfullly was bleach (hi lift). She applied with highlights finely throughout my hair, she used no tint or other colours. And it worked. My hair is now a lovely light brown and can go lighter in the summer, no hint of red or green. But this lady knew what she was doing.
