I would say the best word for it is erratic. Even wildly erratic. With a definite leaning to generous.

Some of it is huge, some of it is about normal. Anything that has a fitted waist is generally true to size but the baggier stuff can be very baggy. If you are size 16 a "small" cardigan will be more than adequate.

Erratic is the word and their sales stuff is often the most erratic of all. I don't order from them very often but whenever I do, I grit my teeth and send for 2 sizes

Boiled wool is rather nice to look at but really hot to wear. I had a boiled wool skirt suit a few years back and it was unbearable. Probably a lucky escape.
