White or nude vest tops that aren't see-through?!

I don't know if anyone could recommend me any decent white/nude vest tops for layering underneath light-colored tops to conceal the colour and detailing of my bra (plus provide a little bit of extra warmth)?

I'm after the thicker straps rather than spaghetti straps, and don't want it to be so long that it comes down underneath the tops. I've got a great one from uni-qlo in black but they don't do a white version. Looked in M&S but they didn't seem that thick; H&M look better but they're really long!

I got an opaque beige one at h&m just before Christmas that had proper vest straps. You can't see a navy bra through it.

Primarily have some lovely seamless ones, I'm using them for layers as breastfeeding!

I got some from M&S - they are really opaque.

This is the bane of my life! Most are too thin and too long. Same with white t-shirts/tops that are see through.

M&S not bad, also White Stuff had some better ones in the summer.

I haven't worn them yet but...

I bought a couple of nude cami tops (thin straps so not what your looking for) and a tummy control vest (in black but they had white too) with thicker straps from Primark (IIRC about £4- £6)

I looked in M&S, H&M they were all long and floaty like proper 'vests' when I wanted shapewear, or those bodysuits which I didn't want.

I originally planned to buy the GokWan trio (black/white/nude) cami vest shapewear but they looked very short and uncomfortable.

I popped into Primark in my lunch hour yesterday and they do indeed do reasonably thick vest tops of the type I am after. I didn't have time to queue up and pay because I had to go back to work, but for £2.80 I will go back and get a couple! I do have one of their spaghetti strap ones in black and it's actually pretty decent and has even washed well.

Just for anyone else having this dilemma - I got a white and nude Primark vest top yesterday for a fiver for the pair. I'm wearing the white one today with a bright pink bra under a sheer white blouse and there is absolutely no hint of pink showing through. It's also a nice tight fit and the perfect length and doesn't come down underneath the blouse at all. Really pleased!
