Night creams...any recommendations?

I have (after a couple of decades) finally got to point where acne-prone skin is good, no spots so i am sticking to my routine 100%. I use Clarins cottonseed cleanser (after removing eye make up), Iris toner and then either a Nivea or simple day cream. I currently use Nivea night cream but as skin replenishes overnight i'm wondering if i am missing trick and should be using a 'better' one. I don't want to spend too much really. Any suggestions on what i should be looking for?

Are you happy with how your skin looks in the morning? If it's working for you and doing a good job of moisturising you don't need to change. If there's a specific skin concern you'd like to address you'd be better off spending your money on a serum to go under it.

'Night creams' are a huge seller for the cosmetics industry but I question the need to use them at all simply from my own experience. I tried them occasionally in the past and they caused spots and my eyes to be puffy and stinging, probably caused by me moving over the pillow in my sleep.

I cleanse thoroughly but never use anything on my skin at night and genuinely have very good, line free skin for my age.

The way your skin looks IMO is dependant on your diet and lifestyle.

Only reason to have a different night cream really is if you want to do retinol which should be done at night. There are numerous potential benefits to retinol in terms of acne and anti-ageing but if you are happy where you are right now, there's also a strong case for not bothering.

Skin isn't reacting badly to current regime, but that's not the same as saying "it's great". Only thing i notice is that skin is oily/sweaty/slippy in morning so not sure what that means. I avoid anything strong as i have vitiligo. If anyone knows how to het rid of the little bumps i can still see under my skin then do tell!

When I started using a heavier night cream for the first time, I really noticed a difference - plumper, smoother, better texture... Now I use an oil (Clarins) mixed into a cream (Origins).

I don't know about vitiligo but I get bumps along my jawline on one side of my face - they have gone right down since I started using the Clinique sonic brush last year, that has been another thing that I am now addicted to.
