I've just been reading a book about my style icons style through throughout her career (very deep of me!) and made me wonder who other people's are.

There are quite a few women whose style I take inspiration from but if I had to choose just one it would be Kate Moss (after a little diet).

I have never really found an ultimate style icon, despite searching for one! I like aspects of the style of Emmanuelle Alt, Kristen Stewart and Cara Delevigne, but would love to find another 'grown up' like Alt whose style I can really admire and take inspiration from - I'm getting a bit old to be getting style inspiration from people born in the 90s!

Carla Bruni-Sarkozy always looks great, even when forced to wear flat shoes because her husband is a shortarse.

I've decided David Bowie is actually a great icon for my Ingenue Natural (house of colour) style personality. He was a brilliant layerer.

Mine is Olivia Palermo. I love her style, especially her relaxed everyday style.

Siouxie sioux fan here too.
Jackie O
Audrey Hepburn
I can't think of anyone modern.
Maybe Paloma faith minus the make up and hair or that Florence and the machine girl.

CreviceImp Sun 17-Jan-16 11:16:36

Jean Seberg.

Floisme Sun 17-Jan-16 11:22:32

Sorry, there were a couple I forgot:
Katharine Hepburn
Edith Sitwell

Please don't say I can only pick one!

I can't think of anyone younger either. Emmanuelle Alt and the like may always look good but they don't inspire me.

Leigh Lezark or Lily Allen for me.

Leigh Lezark or Lily Allen for me.

Tate15 Sun 17-Jan-16 12:55:53

Sharon Tate.

Interesting. Quite a few of these I like myself!

mowglik Sun 17-Jan-16 12:59:30

I really like olivia palermo (quirky trendy looks), rosie huntingdon whiteley (sexy bikery trendy looks) and jennifer aniston (casual and natural). Together they sum up all the looks I like and suit me.

SymbollocksInteractionism Sun 17-Jan-16 13:03:05

I think Emma Willis always looks great. She's so tall and slim she'd look good in a bin bag though!

Alisvolatpropiis Sun 17-Jan-16 13:06:49

I like Millie Mackintosh's style as well. Particularly her day time makeup/clothes, she always looks groomed but in a natural way.

LoadsaBlusher Sun 17-Jan-16 16:52:34

Jessica Alba - love her casual and her glam looks.

cressetmama Sun 17-Jan-16 17:08:55

I also like all Flo's picks. We must be the same age grin.

HappyGirlNow Sun 17-Jan-16 17:14:37

Olivia Palermo
Diane Kruger
Naomi Watts
Cate Blanchett
Marion Cotillard
Charlie Theron
Sometimes Kate Bosworth

Love them all grin

Catpants123 Sun 17-Jan-16 17:16:10

Lady Gaga
Chloe Sevigny
Nicole Richie

Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie are so beautiful but too simple and understated for my tastes.

HappyGirlNow Sun 17-Jan-16 17:16:26

That should be charlize Theron obvs!
