Having not taken plunge on flares last spring thinking of actually getting some this year. But don't 'do' heels. What other options are there please?
I'd suggest a look on Pinterest. Apart from heels, trainers seem to be the other look from what I can see. I haven't tried it though and I don't think it would work for me. I'm wearing heels with mine.
I wear converse with mine.
Watching with interest as the only shoes that look right with mine are towering wedges. The problem is that if you buy them long enough to hang nicely over heels they are too long to wear with flats or trainers. Buy them any shorter and they look half mast with heels.
flares ending a couple of inches above a chunky heel is a look.
Thanks for replies so far. Can any ankle boots work with them ( without getting into whole 'mum boot' debate!)?
Personally I don't think boots and flares is a good look. But that's just me!
the fash mags are showing flare flood pants ending a few inches above ankle boots.I am planning to get a pair of gaucho floods and think i will be wearing them with ankle boots.
Boots (like docs - very 90s) or converse style pumps if heeled boots are out for you

DMs or converse.
