Comfortable but stylish boots that will look as good with a dress or skinny trousers. They have to be leather just wondered if anyone has seen anything in the sales, but I don't want an ankle gap if you know what I mean. Thank you

I have been looking and not found any I like. Unhelpful but interested.

Just bought these - fit close on ankle and don't come too high up which I find better with a skirt or sweater dress
I also have some miss kg ones in nubuck which are similar cut but more casual

I bought a tan pair from Steve Madden that I have walked loads in and they are neat on the ankle. Will attempt a link.... Or photo 😊

They look more modern than the gappy ankle Hudson type ones to my mind.

Thank you I will have a good look at both styles I didn't realise it would be so hard to find the perfect boot I have relied on tucking into long boots but am bored by them. smile

Crevicelmp - do you have a style name or link for the Steve maddens ?

mizu Fri 08-Jan-16 19:18:53

I have a Steve Maddens pair that I bought from eBay. V similar to the pic but got a black stretchy bit at the back. Lovely and have had a few compliments.

Smart but not too high a heel.

Little bit narrow for my wide feet though.

The model is called Nitro.

teacher1984 Fri 08-Jan-16 21:10:31

Thank you! Do they come up high on the ankle or are they quite low?

CreviceImp Fri 08-Jan-16 21:48:43

They are quite low - they just hit my ankle bone.
