I would very much like to book a House of Colour consultation, as I am sick of buying clothes that do nothing for me, in a panic. I have a new(ish) baby and only have a few items of clothing that fit my interim size (12-14+, usually a 10) while I am getting back into shape. I would just like to have a few outfits that are comfortable and presentable until my shape has settled down.
The HoC classes here are on weekdays and I just don't think I can do it around school runs and with a breastfeeding baby with me. My DH can't really take any time off work any time soon to help out, either.
If I were to post a photo of my face, could anyone help identify even my basic season? Or do I really need to do the whole consultation process? I have chestnut brown hair, green/brown eyes with a dark blue ring, and Caucasian skin that is a bit olivey.
Can anyone help at all? I am really struggling with feeling so shoddy and uncomfortable all the time. I will definitely book a HoC thing befor going back to work when the baby is a bit older!

Gosh, I didn't realise there were any consultants who did NO weekend classes (am a HOC consultant). Have you tried emailing to see if they can see you on a weekend?
It is impossible for anyone to be 100% on an analysis with a picture - you're as likely to succeed picking a palette on Pinterest that appeals. I will be shot down in flames for saying that as obviously I have a vested interest in preserving the sham etc etc

Yes, if you can make it to Watford they run training a couple of times a year and you can get done for free - depending on which day you go you might not get a 'full' analysis though (depending on which stage of training the stylists are at), so check when you get asked.
Or come to Devon - I only really work on weekends, and it can't be more than, ooh, a four hour drive each way

Thanks hopefully, it does seem like the sort of thing that needs to be done in person. I play sport at the weekend which tends to account for Saturdays. I might wait for the season to finish, and the baby will be older by then too. Maybe I will give up and live in sports kit until then. And Devon sounds nice ;)

I have had three deliveries this week and everything except a pair of earrings has gone back! One White Stuff cashmere jumper is fairly nice but it looks like it will wash horribly - terrible quality for £100!
Unfortunately DH's job isn't predictable with working days (he's military) so it's hard to plan things more than a week or two in advance. He has just reminded me that he has some leave in March so I willl look for a weekday course then, I think. Suspect the sales may have ended by then though...
