If you like Aldi skincare, they do a serum (red bottle) that is really nice (I bought the Mature as I'm nearly 50). I'm not lucky with their moisturisers though, they make my eyes sting if my face sweats (which it does when I hot flush) but I like the serum, it's not oily and like all Aldi skincare , very reasonable.
You do sound like you need moisture though. Water to drink Water and a slice of lemon? Some people swear by Vit D but you need the right doseage.
Do you use a toner after cleansing? It helps maintain the correct pH then your skin is more responsive to the moisturiser
Superdrug own brand skincare is fab. They dos few different ranges, I've tried and liked the naturally radiant, vitamin e and clearly youthful ranges. The clearly youthful is targeted at breakout prone skin but also fine lines etc They are all £2/£3 each
