Non-leather bags

Can't justify the cost of a decent leather bag (dsis bought me one a few years ago and although the leather lasted well the fabric lining didn't, so not that impressed). I don't want a look alike leather bag either.

So what are the alternatives to leather and where would I find them? I'd like some of the Cath Kidson coated cotton bags if they didn't have 'Cath Kidson' written on them for all to see. Also am avoiding cute patterns.

Ideally a cross body or shoulder bag, roomy enough for purse, phone, keys and my packed lunch.

Any pointers much appreciated.

You could try Matt&Nat, they do non leather bags, they are really good quality too.

Kipling bags - my DD loves them, and they are as tough as old boots - they even go through the wash

Second Matt & Nat, usually on offer in the ASOS outlet.

For coated cotton bags, Amazon often have Orla Kiely or Orla Kiely esque styles on offer.

Live Kippling. Look at denim, or do a search for oilcloth -

It's a Jorja shoulder bag in pewter. Now out of stock and not here yet.

I have Kipling (not because I don;t want to pay leather prices but I choose to have non-leather) . Some are more £££ than a leather bag anyway.

I have 3 - black/chocolate brown/grey (they grey one is a small crossbody)

I bought an M&S non leather Bayswater-likey but it's a bit clumpy and IMO looks like I'm trying to copy badly

And YY - Kipling bags in the wash Grin
