Anyone use kiehls skincare? I'm looking for new products for my constantly unhappy skin!

I swear by the ultra facial cream and midnight recovery concentrate. I'm in my 40s and have always had good skin but it's now very sensitive and needs more looking after. I don't wear make up very often so need my skin to look as fresh and smooth as possible and these products work for me.

I have a friend whos obsessed with the Midnight Recovery. I have to say it did nothing for me but I have v good skin so I rarely notice anything making any difference if you know what I mean.

But I keep going back to Kiehls, just cos the women in there are so nice and practically throw samples at you even if you're not buying anything. So try to get to a store and get some samples if poss.

I love the blue herbal spot treatment for breakouts. Ultra facial moisturiser too, olive fruit oil shampoo, and eye makeup remover.

Love Kiehls. I have dry and very sensitive skin which goes itchy in patches when it's cold and dry. I love the Skin Rescuer as a base moisturiser in the winter and in desert climates on holiday. I use their very heavy cream too - can't remember the name but it's sort of French - and the hand cream for dry hands.

Their stuff absorbs quickly and works well for me. I also love that most of their products are unscented or only very lightly scented. I can't stand stinky skincare products Confused

I've used the foaming face wash and the washable cleansing milk. My skin prefers the cleansing milk. If you can get into a store they will test your skin and give you some recommendations. They've never been pushy so you can always ask for samples and then go back once you've tried them. Can't go wrong with the body lotion though.

Just an update....
I went into their bluewater store yesterday and the girl I spoke to was absolutely lovely she spent an age with me talking and testing my skin and I didn't once feel pressured into buying anything at all. I bought some bits she recommended safe in the knowledge I can return for a full refund if I do not get on with them, fingers crossed I won't need to!

I've been trying out a couple of samples and so far the moisturisers seem like the best I've ever tried. I have sensitive skin so it's very hard to find the perfect moisturiser. I imagine they throw samples at us because it's really good stuff and they know we will come back for more.

I don't loke the wrinkle reducing serum - that makes my face sting. The Rosa Arctica one is a bit much too. The Skin Rescuer and their very heavy night cream are nice, as is the eye cream.

Have you tried Tropics? I have sensitive skin and was using simple but it was just getting dull and kept getting the odd spot on my chin.

A friend gave me a trial kit - apparently there are no chemicals in it at all it's all natural plant based?

I've been using it for two weeks and just ordered the cleanser, toner, moisturiser, eye roll on and bamboo cloth thing. It was £52 for the pack.
My skin is glowing, feels so soft and haven't had a single spot despite eating all manner of crap over Xmas.

So maybe that's worth a try? I don't know if you can just order it online as I got mine from her house, bit like virgin vie used to be. But maybe you can.

I came on to comment on the Creme De Corps and Ultimate Strength Hand Cream (both amazing in my book) but seen you've been having problems with the face products. Have you heard of Elemental Herbology? It is £££ but lasts for almost six months and cleared mine and my sister's skin up (mine looked dull, hers was 'congested') All natural ingredients too.

The midnight recovery concentrate is my holy grail. I actually just made a YouTube video about it Blush. I'm v loyal to it. I have oily skin so adding an oil helps it, but this oil in particular does something amazing to my skin. Never had a spot while using it. Always get one when I go away and don't take it.

Their Creme de Corps is amazing- I have those little red bumps on the backs of my arms and it made them disappear, as well as evening the tone on my legs- it's very expensive though, I ran out a long time ago and can't justify £40 on the big bottle again.

Their hand cream is also very very good, with a lovely smell. Regular use really improved the condition of my nails.

And I love their oil free facial moisturiser- it's great, especially if you're going to put on make up. DP was having a lot of trouble with the skin around his nose developing spots and it's really cleared up since he swapped to my bottle of moisturiser!

Am so gutted I thought these would be the ones for me and girl in shop says she was confident I would love them too! My skin is hyper sensitive though so not necessarily bad products just my skin being a pest as usual! I also started breaking out in very sore red spots all over forehead the day after I'd used the new stuff that was on top of the stinging :(
I've heard of that elemental herbology and have been tempted in past but just so much money, I don't mind spending money on products but if I remember rightly that was extra £££ I will look again though thanks.

That's a shame OPSad

If you're ever tempted to look at the non-facial stuff again....The creme de corps body cream is amazing and a winter staple for my dry skin. I also use the lip balm (both tinted and plain) is like magic stuff. Also the shower gels are lovely. Smell divine and lather well so you only need a little bit.

The facial stuff I use is the papaya and pineapple facial scrub (in the morning), eye make up remover and ultra facial moisturiser which I use at night.

Good luck with your search.

That's such a shame OP next time stick to samples only. I only ever try out samples now before trying a new product because my skin is also so sensitive.
However both my Kiehls samples have really worked for me and I will definitely be buying the full size products.
I used and my skin loved Kiehls Centella recovery skin- salve and the skin rescuer stress minimising daily hydrator.

I will use the later one for daytime and the Centella for nighttime as it is richer.
