What is it about your style that makes it 'you'?

Black skinnies, beaten up leather jackets and slouchy or biker flat boots. Liquid eyeliner and general sixties makeup. Messy hair Grin

I change every 6 to 12 months, not a trend follower but I get into a style and do it for a while. Used to change seasonally but wanted to shop less so have worked out how to make fewer substantial changes.

Black. A lot of black.

Actually, that only seems to be true if I'm going "out" (which is super rare these days).

Rest of the time, skinny jeans and boat neck tops, or skirts and DM shoes and boat neck tops for work. (I just really like boat neck tops Grin)

Black, charcoal or mid grey slouchy knits.
Fake leather skinnies or dark blue skinnies, sometimes flares
Loads of bangles/cuffs
Hudson black boots or multi buckle grey ankle boots
Velvet coat
Skinny scarves
Plum nail varnish, black eyeliner and dark berry lipstick
Messy pixie
Massive silver hoops on occasion.
Knitted black or grey dresses worn with over the knee suede flat boots.

I guess I like grey and black and not looking too done.

At the moment it is slouchy jumper, smart shorts, opaque tights, biker jacket and ankle boots.

At home, skinny jeans, high top converse and a checked shirt with a nice scarf and a messy bun.

At work, patent heels, pencil skirt and a nice shirt. I also make my hair look nice.

Black - lots of black. And the odd bit of grey. Skinny jeans. And biker jackets. And smudgy eyeliner. Basically, as if I'm still in an indie bar in 1987.

Probably my specs. And colour - not too bright but lots of plums and dark greens. They suit me.

I try for a low key, elegant cool look with just a bit of edge. I wear skirts or dresses a lot as my legs (from the knee down) are still in good nick so I show them off while I still can.

At the moment my go-to outfit is an old Me and Em ruched, jersey tube skirt with an oversized V neck. It's probably time for a change though.

My style crushes are Jane Birkin and Vivienne Westwood although I don't consciously try and copy them.

Apparently I'm known for wearing leggings with a long blouse and jumper with some form of boot...

I guess people never see me in the warmer months

I wear a lot of soft white.
Statement glasses, a cocktail ring and a slim silver bracelet.

Breton, skinnies, converse or boots if it's too cold for converse. Leather jacket or short duffle coat. Lululemon scarf. That's my absolute only look. It's not even conscious, it's just the fall-back I always revert to, I even buy breton-type dresses and vests for summer.

Nights out are invariably black skinnies/leather jeans, stupidly-high heels, cami and blazer. Again, the only style I ever go for.

Work is flower-patterned mini-dress and cardigan in varying shades of navy/grey. Ballet flats and bare legs in summer, opaques and ankle boots in winter. Loads of types of dress/cardi combos but always with the same colour scheme as I've only ever felt that navy and greys suit me, but have just gone brunette and now nothing suits me and my face looks like a cadaver. That's now how I'll be known; the girl with the dead face.

Never trousers or jeans, they don't fit properly! massive bum, smaller waist

90% of the time I'm in dresses or skirts... mostly a short skater style with black tights and big clompy boots. Skirts are matched with tucked in thin tshirts and leather /oversized denim jackets. Lots of black/grey/dark greens, and far too many band tshirts! Chunky gold jewellery and always a watch.

When I'm feeling lazier I'll wear good quality thick leggings and oversized jumpers/tunics with the chunky shoes or Vans. I do my hair in various ways, but it's mostly big and wavy or pinned into victory rolls. Always a ton of mascara and nude lipstick. Smile

My favourite look for going out at the moment is a big dramatic skirt and tight black top (with big platforms!) I just bought this today: Berry coloured skirt I'll probably style it like the model, although I'm not skinny enough for a cropped top!

Just asked DH how he'd describe my style, he said "Drunk Parisian hooker. High-end, though, not scuzzy".

I'm going to ask Santa for a new husband.

Haha, Timeto! Sounds like a strong look Grin

My style definitely varies - evening look funnily enough has been nicknamed 'Russian hooker' by charming friends as I am tall and blonde and partial to fake fur and pointy stilettos... (unless they mean hooker in the rugby sense and are referring to my sturdy build!)

By day I tend to do jumpers over printed dresses with opaques and ankle boots, or skinnies with sweatshirts and Nikes plus obligatory massive handbag (and when outside sunglasses on all but the gloomiest of days to halt the ravages of time around the eyes).

I aspire to chic simplicity and a capsule wardrobe but fall for trends far too often Smile

Skinny dark denim jeans with pixie boots in winter, and Birkenstock in the summer. Stripy t-shirt. Cashmere cardigan and scarf in winter, just the t-shirt in summer. I also wear denim dresses. I wear turquoise a lot.

Skinnies. Black leather jacket. Big scarf, my current favourite is red tartan. Kickers/dms (shoes not boots) or my oh so comfy fur lined khaki boots. For work I like thick black tights and dresses with aforementioned dms and leather jacket. I love my classic beige trench coat but that's more for slightly warmer weather.

Dark skinny jeans / faux leather leggings, vintage t-shirts, baggy cardies and DM boots. I also have a shaved head which probably makes me quite distinctive :)
