Why don't grey boots exist?

I've been trying to buy grey boots for ages like these White Stuff or these Dune ones

They say Grey and they look grey in the picks, but when they arrive, these are definitely brown. A grey "cold" brown rather than a warm orange brown but brown none the less. Anyone seen anything that's actually grey?

My Ash Jalouse in Woodash are definitely a cool grey tone.

Try Mint Velvet - the home of all things grey.

I got some in Debenhams last year and they're most definitely light grey!

I love the mint velvet ones but a bit expensive for me.

I bought a cheap suede pair from new look once but someone mistook them for slippers and I never wore them again.

They exist, because I have some beautiful ones from Whistles - but they are v few and far between and sometimes, even when they exist, they look like they are made of chopped up elephants.

These are nice but expensive

Clarks but not v nice unless better irl

Mine are a bit like these Whistles ones

Topshop Chelsea boot I like these

I agree with you. I think grey is far more versatile than bloody black.

Anyway TK Maxx had some a couple of weeks ago. I can't see them online anymore but it might be worth looking in your local store. They were a bit like the Top Shop ones Remus linked but a dark grey, about £40.00. I'm wishing now that I'd bought them too as my grey pair (Carvella via TK MaXX from 3 or 4 years ago) are shot.

I got some nice ones from Oasis, I'm sorry I can't do a link but might be worth a look with 20% off at the moment

I bought some from Atterly Road a few months ago, but they were in the sale so might be out of stock now
If you do find them, they come up small so you need to order the next size up!

No suggestions but glad to see I'm not the only grey footwear fan. I hate black shoes, and grey goes with both navy and black. I got grey uggs but suspect you are looking for something more elegant!

I have some grey Clarks leather boots but my mum is convinced they are brown. Granted over time as they have become more weathered they have started to look more brown where they are worn. She is adamant I am colour blind though!!! Must be a difficult colour to dye.

If you're a size 4, I have these which I don't wear anymore - they're lovely, really comfy and always get complimented, but they just don't seem to go with anything I own!

(Or anyone else for that matter Grin)
