Thinking of subtle lip fillers in the new year. Any advice from anyone who's had them? Any recommendations for a clinic in London?

Thank you!

Following! Also can you get away with getting them done without people knowing? As in can you hide the bruising and swelling?

I just don't know if you can have "subtle" lip fillers. I'm not adverse to a bit of Botox myself but lip fillers scare me. I know about five people who have had them and none of them have looked good. I think if you like the fake look great but I'm not sure if they would ever look natural.

Oh and my friend went to have it done an hour before picking up from school she looked like she had been punched in the mouth very swollen and red. It settled down by the next morning but was still swollen (and not in a good way!!)

I tried them back in my twenties. It was perlane I think. The surgeon was really good, I paid for the stuff but he only
Injected half and I kept the rest and went back in six months for a top up using the rest of it. No one else would have noticed but I was pleased. Not enough to bother having it done again though. It gets absorbed but I do still have a few bumps I can feel if I chew my lips 15 odd years later

I know loads of people that have them and they all look really good. If you PM me I can recommend somewhere that does them well (I drive 3 hrs to go to this place).

You will look like you've been punched for about 48 hours afterwards and it does hurt to get done.

Boo I don't know how to PM from the mobile app (I realise I'm probably missing a simple trick. Confused) PM me please!

Anyway I could disguise the bruising as dental work?
