Does a warm-ish going out top exist??

I am tired of being freezing every time we go out somewhere, but none of my warm tops are nice enough to wear out - is there a solution to this?

I saw quite a nice black sparkly top in M&S yesterday. It was part of their heat-gen range. I thought about getting it & wearing it with a faux fur gilet & jeans & boots. I'll look for a link.

They do it in polo neck too & lots of other colours & prints.

Could you layer up underneath your nice going out tops?

I sometimes carry a cashmere jumper in my bag, I roll it up so it doesn't crease.

It depends where you're going. If just for a casual pint, I often just wear skinnies, ankle boots and a black jumper but then wear 'dressy' earrings, necklace or cuff.

And for a casual pint, you'll look like a dick if you are over-dressed. Grin

Problem with a warm top is that inside is going to be hot and sweaty - you need to do layers or sneak into the loos and whip off your thermals.

Camisole top and a warm, cute cardi?

I have a wardrobe of sparkly jumpers
Cos, and other stories, whistles
Not think though but good for a night out around now
