GHD platinum

Does anyone own these straighteners? Are they worth the money? How does the performance compare to previous ghd models and did you notice a change to the condition of your hair?

I am a sucker for a hair product but I do already own a pair of ghds (although they are about 6 or 7 years old now). I'm wondering whether it's time to upgrade! I won't though if there's no significant difference between the models.

Any advice/ opinions would be greatly appreciated!!
