which hairdryer: Parlux, ETI, Phillips or Panasonic?

I'm trying to choose a new hairdryer & have narrowed it down to:

  • Parlux Powerlight 385 ~ £90
  • Phillips HP 8700 £70
  • Panasonic EH-NA65-K £55
  • ETI microstratus 3600. £59

I gave fine, blonde, bobbed hair.
Any thoughts?

Parlux for me.

(though I have huge scarecrow hair - well I don't now cos' I have Parlux now and these days I look swishy)

Thanks! I'm swithering between the Parlux & the ETI - just trying to work out if the extra cost is justified X

Parlux - my first one died on me one morning and I didn't even consider buying any other brand. So ordered a Parlux 3800 Ceramic and Ionic Edition Eco Friendly Hair Dryer Black and had it delivered same day by Amazon.

I love there hairdryers esp as I have fine hair, it adds so much volume and I find I barely use my straighteners now.

I'm not familiar with the other brands but I've got an ETI. The main thing IME is to have a professional salon dryer, i.e. like an actual hairdresser might use and from a salon supplier or ebay/amazon, not a high street shop.

The ones in Boots or Argos even if badged "salon/professional" seem to be really feeble - maybe consumer ones are subject to different safety regulations.

I have thick haystack hair though so if ppl are recommending the Parlux for fine hair then go for that. It should last for ages.
