High arches & fat calves - Uggs, Celtic Boots or Bear Paw?

Just hate my awkward feet. Blush I currently have chestnut Ugg Bailey Buttons where neither of the above is a problem but would like to get another pair of (preferably black or grey) sheepskin boots. Can anyone tell me how Celtic or Bear Paw boots compare to Uggs in terms of calf width?

Many thanks in advance Smile

This is my problem too. I have huuuuuge calves in proportion to my feet (size 3). I am also short, so boots always come high up my legs. It is only bailey buttons triplet that have ever worked for me, I cannot pull up everything else and they pool around my lower leg, so I will follow your thread!

Celtic are fine for my very high arches
Not sure about wide calves

happyjusttobeme Yeah, the Bailey Button ones are great but stupidly expensive and they never seem to be on sale in any of the nice colours. I'm onto my second pair now after my big toe wore a hole through the leather Confused Appears to be a common problem and I suppose 2.5 years is a decent lifespan for sheepskin boots. Still wouldn't mind looking at possibly more robust alternatives.

ggirl, I'm the same, but with my stupid size 8 feet, going up often isn't even an option. The worst to get off used to be riding boots for me...

Happy50, great, thanks! Hoping someone will come along and say they're a great choice for fat calves as well (which shoe is and who am I kidding...lol). But if they work for high arches I may just buy a pair of short ones which should hopefully be okay anyways.

Since I'm on the continent returning would be a bit of pain, so hoping for more posters to weigh in on this extremely important issue. Grin

Thank you Helen, the Boo Roos look like a good option, too.

I have just ordered about £800 worth of black sheepskin boots from several different brands (including Uggs and Boo Roos) and will report back. If none of them fit properly, I could always stop eating forever / have lipo / hack my feet off.
