Going out for the first time in a long time - think bars, cocktails, clubbing if I don't fall asleep, all central London. Planning on wearing the following, but not feeling that confident. If you think it's inappropriate/dowdy/whatevs, link me up with something better!!! Budget:minimal

these shoes
these coated skinnies
this silk T

I love those shoes, I'm going to order them smile

lornathewizzard Tue 10-Nov-15 16:28:45

Shoes and trousers look fab, link is not right for the top I don't think?

soupmaker Tue 10-Nov-15 16:36:05

Love the skinny trousers and top. Not keen on the shoes. I'd go for a pair of heeled ankle boots. Add a large clutch in a different colour to the top and good to go. Have a great time.

Love the skinnies.

Don't love the shoes.

Link to the top doesn't work for me.

Madbengalmum Tue 10-Nov-15 16:41:59

No to shoes
Link to top not working
Dont mihd trousers

MagicalHamSandwich Tue 10-Nov-15 16:43:37

Trousers are great - I'd go for a slightly higher heel or flats in terms of shoes, though.

The link to the top doesn't work.

Paintedhandprints Tue 10-Nov-15 16:46:58

Not keen on the shoes. Flats or heels. Not in between. Top and jeans are great.

SayAGreatBigThankyou Tue 10-Nov-15 16:59:36

Grrr, rubbish Pure links. If you can be bothered it's Smokey Mauve silk satin Tshirt.

Will rethink shoes (bought them a while back and when I linked thought "oh dear" grin)

SayAGreatBigThankyou Tue 10-Nov-15 16:59:52

black patent heels better, do you think?

Queenbean Tue 10-Nov-15 17:07:50

Jeans fine, shoes horrible, Tshirt link doesn't work

I'd go with heeled ankle boots as they're really comfy. Oversized clutch, big dangly necklace and good to go

SayAGreatBigThankyou Tue 10-Nov-15 17:26:01

Any recommendations for heeled ankle boots?

YourBubzYourRulzHun Tue 10-Nov-15 17:28:21

New Look have some lovely boots. I always buy mine in there. I don't like the shoes in your link either but like the jeans. Can't see the top

Queenbean Tue 10-Nov-15 17:32:03

Agree that new look has some lovely, plain ankle boots

YourBubzYourRulzHun Tue 10-Nov-15 17:32:49

I normally wear ones similar to this. Easy to walk in but still with a heel

KateSpadeAddict Tue 10-Nov-15 17:34:38

I’d go with something like this instead for shoes or a much higher heel.

I have boots like that from New Look from last year and they are very comfortable.

I like the skinnies and I like that top - I’d add some kind of big necklace though smile

KateSpadeAddict Tue 10-Nov-15 17:35:23

Ooh or these!

Am 6ft in flats so lovely as those boots are, they won't work for me sad

squoosh Tue 10-Nov-15 17:39:25

If you don't want to add height well then I'd just go for actual flats. I awlays think kitten heels look so apologetic.

MizK Tue 10-Nov-15 17:41:48

I'm not keen on the shoes. I would do very minimal strap sandals with a higher heel. If you don't do heels, some glam pointed flats?
Love the jeans.

MrsWhirling Tue 10-Nov-15 17:43:55

Pointy flats I think. Really like the outfit. Finish with a clutch and long pendant chain thing, and HAVE FUN!!

squoosh Tue 10-Nov-15 17:44:40

Love the trousers though!

SayAGreatBigThankyou Tue 10-Nov-15 17:55:21

hahaha at apologetic, that's exactly right!!! Pointed flats it is <gets shopping>. Sandals sound good, but then would need pedi too and it's all so much effort already wink.

BrendaandEddie Tue 10-Nov-15 17:55:37

i have those skinnies. Are sold out online. i LOVE THEM
Couple on ebay though

SayAGreatBigThankyou Tue 10-Nov-15 17:56:00
