Girls lined jeans?

When the dds were babies and up to about age 2, I had a few pairs of lined trousers and jeans. I cannot find them anywhere now.

I've looked on M&S and Next websites as that's where the pairs I had were from, but I can't seem to see any. I've tried any other place I can think of but nothing.

I've tried 'lined jeans' and 'thick jeans' as searches on eBay and I can find ones with a massive thick fleece inner from Hong Kong, which I may have to resort to if I can't find any closer to home. But I'm just looking for cotton lined ones that are a bit thicker. The ones I had all seemed to have cuffed legs and be a little bit harem style if that helps.

I'm looking for age 3-4 and 5-6 but perhaps they only make them in baby sizes?

Any ideas anyone?

Don't even get me started on this. Apparently girls don't feel the cold some day I am going to set up a shop dedicated to WARM clothes for girls. Also summer dresses with sleeves and non pink night wear

Mothercare sometimes have them although I have generally been looking st smaller sizes.

I think Gap have some in so try there. I bought some lined cords for my DD and I'm sure I saw some lined jeans too.

I bought my DS lined jeans in gap - if your dd can manage with general checked lining (rather than specifically pink) there are plenty of trousers there...

Ah thanks, you're all right, I did see some in Gap last year. The trouble is they were £20 plus...

And I have to buy for 3!

I recently bought a lovely lined pair from Morrisons (Their 'Nutmeg' range) for my youngest dd. She's 3, but the clothes there can be big I find (leggings/jeans in particular) so I think she's in an age 1.5-2 or something daft like that. But they are lovely lined jeans, with an elasticated waisted rather than the adjustable waists (which I usually love, but recently the gap ones have started to irritate my daughter so she doesn't like to wear them).

Gap also do lovley lined needlecord tousers, with elasticated waists.

Thanks Sleepy, my grandma gets the kids things from Morrisons, our one doesn't have clothes. Do you mind me asking how much they were please? I will get her to have a look. I've been on vertbaudet's website and I've seen lined ones for £13 ish which is ok, plus a discount off your first order which makes them really good value.

Oh gosh, I can't remember exactly, but I think they were £10. Anymore than that I would have held off and waited for Gap to have a 30% deal and tried there as I really rate Gap stuff for quality and wearing/washing well.

Having said that, the Morrisons ones have been brilliant and wash well and look brand new. I bought a few bits for both my dds from there now and been very surprised at the excellent quality and softness of the fabric.

Yes I've been pleasantly surprised by the quality of Morrisons stuff, i thought it would go out of shape and fade etc but it's outlasted M&S, Next and all sorts! Thanks, I will def get my gran to check next time she's in!

I tend to put leggings or tights under jeans for DD (and me !) in the winter.

If we are going somewhere that will be warm via the cold then I can just take her jeans off and she can run around without overheating and then pop them back on when we leave.

I just shop in the boys' department for dd. Mothercare joggers and lined cargoes are about £10 and much thicker and better quality in the boys' version.

They have them online at H&M (search for lined and then look under trousers in the kids sections) and my daughter is wearing them now. I used to buy them for my son at Ted Baker until I discovered the H&M ones.

If you can get some in gap on sale they are well worth it, the fit is so relaxed and comfy and depending on age they also have soft waistbands so you don't get the waistband digging into little tummies.

H&M always used to do them, but not been in for a while. They did lovely cords too in a variety of colours.

Gap sale on at the mo! Just got my DD a lined pair of pink cords for £13. I think the lined trousers are only in the sale in toddler sizes though DD is 4).

I share the frustration at the lack of warm winter clothing for girls. Because God forbid, a girl should want to go outside in the winter

Also, hate that all girls trousers are in "skinny" style. DD just won't wear them, they're not at all comfortable for playing in. She's had skinny cords/khakis in the past that she could barely bend her knees in. I don't buy them anymore. Do manufacturers not realise that kids need to be able to easily pull them up and down for the toilet?

Was quite impressed with the gap range TBH, I wish I could afford it outside of the sale

Yes I know it's so hard to find non skinny for girls. My girls are really active, like all children and my middle one constantly suffers from bow legged walking cz her trousers are so tight on her! But she's skinny and if I get a bigger size they're falling off her waist!!

Just bought some vertbaudet ones so will report back on them. They do three hip sizes as well in each style so hoping they fit my skinny minnies! Just got to find the toddler some now.

Boden have lined chinos, jeans and combats in the boys bit. Don't know if there are girls ones, but the boys ones come in some nice colours, not just sludge and orange.

Bonprix do and they also do adult women's ones! They do lined chinos too.

Just saw a nice pair of lined needle cord trousers in Asda - £7. They were a bright pink - not neon, not baby pinker, not fuschia or blush etc. A weird sort of pink but actually quite nice and would be good with navy

I had a look at our big ASDA last week but they only had skinny and leggings, could look online, i think they have the clothes online??

Checked Boden catalogue, Hopefully you're right they're really nice and look much more rugged than the girls stuff but £32 and £37 for the sizes I need!!! Ouch. Will try eBay.
