Comfy Boots

My feet are in very bad shape at the moment, and I'm finding it really hard to find boots for the winter. I need something durable as I do a lot of walking, something really comfy for lots of standing, and for the last few years I've been wearing Fly London Boots, but fancy something even more comfortable but not frumpy. I have huge feet so Uggs and Emus make them look enormous, and tend to wear skinny jeans so wouldn't want them too tall.

Does anyone have any bright ideas for comfy, on trend boots?

Thank you :-)

Ankle, mid calf or knee high? I bought knee highs from Clarks last year and the year before and have been stopped by strangers to be complimented on them and asked where they're from. Both pairs are so comfortable to walk in. They have 1.5 and 2 inch heels, go with jeans or dresses and are just classic - nothing fancy but not frumpy either. Will see if they are doing similar styles this year and link.

Have you tried Office?

I always buy boots from there now as I find comfy, stylish ones which last for ages.

Have a look at Moshulu - always very comfortable and well made.

I find clarks boots or red or dead boots the most comfortable

What's your budget. Ecco are good but pricey

I was coming to reccomend ecco so lovely and comfy mine are almost three years old and still look and feel great. We have an outlet nearby and I got them very reduced but I think they are well worth the money full price.

I've got these from Next and find them very comfortable. I'm on my feet all day at work and they've been great from the first wear Smile

I've had Camper boots before, really comfy and lasted for several winters, not sure if they are 'on trend' though, but they are a bit different.

Eccos are really comfortable and also this make are so comfortable it's like you're wearing slippers only outside (which actually felt a bit wrong to begin with...I'm used to wearing heels and the concept of a bit of pain to look good).

I suffer with a really bad back at times so I need comfort atm. I am usually on my feet most of the day, my boots go on at 7am when I get dressed and often don't come off until everyone is back in from clubs/brownies at 7.30/8pm.

Ooh thanks for the ideas, hadn't thought of Ecco or Camper. Budget would ideally be under £100, more if they are long lasting. I think ankle or calf length but knee length ok. I am just desperate for something that is as comfy as a slipper!!!??

I've got boots from hotter, they are leather, just above calf length and are so so so comfy and seem to be very well made. I think they were £90. I have size 8 wide feet and they fit perfectly.

Next boots for me too. Very comfortable, bought a pair of biker ones recently.
