Does such a thing exist? Tasteful Christmas Jumper?

The shops are slowly filling with the festive supply of Christmas Jumpers .
But I want something a bit less lairy, no unfestive colours (grey, pink, teal, lime green are not IMHO, Christmassy)

I really want something dark green or red, navy or black with some gold.

Needs to be a finer knit (Hot Flushes) and suitable for my age (49) and not too ££ because at the end of the day, it's a Christmas Jumper not couture.

So...............does it exist?
TIA
Xmas Grin

Nope! You could get tasteful or cheap, but not both. The tasteful ones I've seen are too expensive to wear for just a few days a year. If you don't mind forking out though, John Lewis have some nice ones.

That's not a Christmas jumper though, is it?

I got one last year from Asda which was a bit like this, but lots of small snowflakes. They did a red one too, iirc. Might be worth keeping an eye out?

What about a fairisle one or kind of icelandic traditional pattern. I really like them. You may get a nice on from Joules?

Traditional Sarah Lund style jumpers cost ££££

Honestly I think cheap and cheerful is the way to go with a one time wear only jumper.

Rivertam I think fair isle is subtly Christmassey! Would be better with snowflakes.

r.ebay.com/u6iDtD - what about a dress? Google Christmas swing dress.

Or Matalan had some nicer jumpers, just not in stock earlier this week.

I got a scandi style jumper from asda last year. It was subtle and cheap. mostly Red, with white and a touch of gold thread in the pattern. They always have loads of styles but I'm crap at links on my phone.

I've looked at the links Thanks
The blue one with the Christmas Puddings No! Blush

I've scoured John Lewis, H&M, New Look, Primark, Tesco, Sainsburys, George,Matalan,M&S.
They won't have the whole range in yet so there's still time.

I liked the Snowflake one but it's cream (so impossible to keep clean)
They had a red one with Merry Christmas written in the style of fairylights that was pretty.
But I'm looking for a bit more subtle .

I've had Fairisle ones, more December than Christmas.

Thanks (Keeps on searching, Mmmmmmmm)

This one from Monsoon looks nice. It's not especially cheap but they usually do a discount coming up to Christmas.

I had a couple of fine knit, not too bonkers jumpers from asda last year. I'm pretty busty, so I really didn't want a massive picture emphasising my frontage, and j had a lot of compliments on them. I'd definitely look there again.
