I am v tall ,when i go out i only ever wear a low heel.
Is it truly impossible to find a kitten heel that looks good?
If you are v tall what shoes do you wear when you go out?

I'm not tall, but kitten heels are just so SO wrong. Wear proper heels and be proud of your height. Kitten heels always look broken to me, like there's something missing. I suppose what's missing is the proper heel!

sole society jenn, i got these at nordstrom online, failing that... boden have a leopard heel that I can't vouch for as I havent tried them

Lesquigh, if you aren't tall , you won't understand why I have to restrict myself to only wearing kitten heels. I adore proper heels but could never wear them.

Leopard heel you say wannabechic1?
Will take a look

I'm tall. I'm not keen on kitten heels either. How about some block heel shoes - are they still fashionable??

trixymalixy Fri 16-Oct-15 09:47:50

I'm tall and I just wear the high heels. I've got to quite enjoy towering over everyone.

Madamscorp Fri 16-Oct-15 11:58:19

I suppose it depends how tall you actually are though?
Im 6ft 1 without shoes so if i were to wear higher heels i would just feel ridiculous.

Madamscorp Fri 16-Oct-15 11:59:00

I have to admit im not keen on the look of a block heel.

amazonianwoman Fri 16-Oct-15 11:59:14

I agree, just embrace it. I'm a mere 5ft 10, DH's cousin is 6ft 1 and looks amazing, she wears high heels.

I have a few pairs of Irregular Choice shoes and bloody love them. Lower heel. Might be too high for you. smile

Madamscorp Fri 16-Oct-15 12:42:40

Argh thanks for the links but i really dislike the irregular choice style blush

I like kitten heels, LK Bennett have some nice ones.

A friend of mine isn't that tall but her husband isn't tall either so she only wears kitten heels maximum, she always looks great.

Madamscorp Fri 16-Oct-15 15:42:54

wow some lovely ones at lkbennett
Sadly out of my budget even in the sale

WheresPoIIy Fri 16-Oct-15 15:46:38

Kitten heels are truly foul creations! Can't you go for a low block heel instead?

Jojoanna Fri 16-Oct-15 15:53:38

I have a bad knee so I embrace the kitten heel

Madamscorp Fri 16-Oct-15 16:07:08

No i dont like block heels.
I have found some kitten heels on Office its a Gaze 2 part court shoe . They never have size 8 ever sad

TreadSoftlyOnMyDreams Fri 16-Oct-15 16:33:09

Whereabouts do you live? The LK Bennett store in Bicester Village is VV good value grin / lethal

Madamscorp Fri 16-Oct-15 16:34:41

ah maybe worth a visit then!

Madelinehatter Fri 16-Oct-15 16:35:57

I only ever wear flats. Have never worn heels. I can't walk in them! I am five 8.

Itsalldramarama Fri 16-Oct-15 16:43:09

I'm 5 ' 10 and look awful in kitten heels ( sort of as if I'm advertising the fact ' I'm tall and trying to hide it ' ) I love wearing really high heels and making a statementsmile

Madamscorp Fri 16-Oct-15 16:58:52

well i hope i dont look awful in them sad
I have very low self esteem so certainly wouldnt like to attract anymore attention to myself by wearing heels any higher.

amazonianwoman Fri 16-Oct-15 17:23:07

Poste Mistress in size 8.

I feel your frustration with lack of size 8s. It's crap!

amazonianwoman Fri 16-Oct-15 17:26:45

Would black suede ankle boots work? They'd work with skinnies/trousers/black opaque tights...

amazonianwoman Fri 16-Oct-15 17:36:43

Available in 41 & 42

Twinklestein Fri 16-Oct-15 17:53:35

Dune seems to have quite a lot.
