Over the knee flat boots...do they look like waders?

So I have recently (in the last couple of hours) become obsessed with the need to acquire a pair of these.

I think I want flat not heels but will they look like waders?

I'm normal height, 31 and size 14-16.

Has anyone seen any of the ASOS ones in real life? I like the Kowtow ones. m.asos.com/search/over-the-knee-boots?q=over+the+knee+boots&pgeSize=50&SearchSuggestUsed=true

I have the daisy street boots and I love them. I wear them with skinny jeans or a short skirt.

I am short (and size 8/10) and they don't look like waders on me.

Waders no, pantomime prince yes.

iMatter possibly if I eat precisely nothing between now and next winter then I will look like you in the boots! Though will have to start after the syrup sponge pudding I've just made.
whoknows agh I hadn't thought of that! Maybe no brocade waistcoat with them.

They always look very principal boy in the panto to me.

Can't say I like them.

I've got a bit of an ongoing obsession with these m.shop.nordstrom.com/s/stuart-weitzman-5050-over-the-knee-leather-boot/2905315?origin=category

I'm not going to spend £400 on boots but they're beautiful.

Less thigh length fold over more higher than normal boots

These are great for the price. Am going back to get them! www.matalan.co.uk/womens/footwear/boots/s2608012/over-the-knee-zip-boots

i have some next ones from last year, they look good but you have to watch how you style them to avoid the pantomine look

Mine don't look like waders.

They're only just over the knee, not thigh high.
They're not black and shiny (grey suede)
They're not huge and flappy at the top (slim fitting)

I love them, and was so happy to dig them out again.

I have a pair of the 5050s. They don't look like waders! Only the front goes over the knee and not even that much. The back is elastic so they aren't gaping and stay fitted to the leg. I love them

If they are leather, rather than suede, you are at risk of wader-itis.

I was amused to see that some of the boots on the same page as those you linked to are called 'vixen'!

They remind me of puss in boots.

this blog has a feature on them and might help you decide

Can't quite decide if they look like waders or principal boy. Either way, they're funny looking things.

I love them but not the 'baggy' loose fitting ones, they have to be the tight fit to look good. The baggy ones look like waders or puss in boots imo. I love these

AHypnotistCollector don't tell me that! I go into R&B to stroke them.occasionally.
