I've tried it with a very fine wool long sleeved t shirt underneath for a bit more of a cover up and it looks great.

Urgh, that would loom hideous on me!

What shape are you OP?

The utility styling is very 'toast'

The floofy bit at the bottom is terrible. I am too short for it Grin

I'm size 12 and 5ft 9 - I love the floaty layered bit at the bottom. It reminds me of whistles collection this year. I'll wear it with my patent 60's ankle boots.

Ahem - I do buy a few pieces from Toast every year too.

Did you buy black or olive and what colour top underneath? I love your style, think I'm going to copy!

Oooh I'm on the look out for more olive clothes! But at 5'2 I suspect it would be a shapeless maxi on me.

Ooh I really like it. I'm a size 10 and 5 foot 6, I wonder if it would suit me.

I got the olive but I'm tempted by the black too.
Here's the boots and the long sleeved top. The top is very fine and has fabulously long slim sleeves....I do like a long sleeve and I don't often find it. I like the slight ribbed effect too it gives a good contrast for layering.

I like the froofy bit at the bottom but the cut of the sleeves and neck would look awful on me.

5'7" size 12, titty, if you're wondering.

Notoedike · 09/10/2015 09:16

I'm a tad titty too.Grin But I have nicely shaped shoulders.
The dress is straight on me, just skims my hips - it has the feel of a flapper dress - Imo the dress looks too big on the model.

Thank you I've just bought dress and top. Love your style look forward to seeing any other recommendations. Im still searching for boots, I love yours as not too high but not sold on patent. I think I need a more everyday low ankle boot that's good with dresses and skirts. Any ideas?

I like it too. Also 5ft 10 and size 12. Think that top and dress would suit me too. Don't have many dresses.

I would wear with tall, flatish boots.

It didn't arrive, very sad as I was hoping to wear it to work on Monday. I wonder if that is a result of this thread, or Tesco Direct's usual ineptitude.

My black one has arrived at my local tesco express - I just haven't got around to picking it up. Tesco can be very slow though.

I don't like it. It looks dull drab shapless and has no if you can say it about dress, no character or personality
But don't know why I give such a shiny shit, I certainly won't be wearing the ghastly thing. If you like it and you feel good in it. That's the main thing.

Ok, it was reduced to £8 in the sale so I ordered it, and am wearing it today.

Hmmm. Not as long and droopy as I thought, the length and hem bit are actually fine.

The material is very sheer - lot of VPL going on. It also picks up and magnifies every little splash of water/ sweat underarms. I'd hoped to wear it to a dance class later, but that's looking unsuitable now.

The colour is great (I went for olive).

Not sure about the dangly bit on the pocket, I keep thinking it's a loose thread.

might suit a no toe dike Wink

but with me, my toes spoil it
