Thought I would share a couple of recent decent buys as I always like seeing what people buy who are generously endowed??
First thing from Boden for many a year, plan to wear with black skinnies

And this dress from hush in maroon

Thought I would share!

I bought this dress from next the other week and it's lovely on my much more curvy than the models frame!

See, I would never think that would suit me lemon but maybe worth a whirl!

I think cos it's a dark colour it didn't make me look like a shelf of boob which a lot of higher necked outfits can do.

I like the hush dress. Is it like a jersey fabric or a knit?

Report
Dinkydoos · 30/09/2015 20:30

It's sort of heavy Jersey , it's v flattering!!

Less exciting, but the m+s fuller bust white shirts half the price of pepperberry

Like the next dress!

Lemon... did you go up a size for boobage or not needed?

Report
LemonPied · 30/09/2015 21:52

pdxs no I just got my normal size, it quite stretchy material, it managed to hold my 38F's in without issue.

TM Lewin dress for work - I have pinned the neckline so my colleagues don't get an eyeful! or sometimes I wear with a plain camisole. When it's winter proper I will wear with slinky long-sleeved top underneath. The print is very flattering and I think it looks better on a curvy person (ahem ahem) rather than the rather slimmer model ... I am a size 12-14. But I do wear control underwear with it!

P.S. I'm a 30G.

I like the look of that Next dress but think it might stick out too much over my bum :(

I'm on the look for a fitted blazer that will accommodate my norms, any suggestions? All the ones I've tried seem to button too low and I tend to burst out a bit!

Report
CambridgeBlue · 01/10/2015 07:07

That'd be 'norks' not norms - bloody spellcheck!

twattersonsmythe · 01/10/2015 07:18

dinkydoos Are you very slim apart from the norms? I have been mulling over that Hush dress for a while but am a 12-14 and am worried that it will be unflattering on my ample backside and ever so slightly unruly stomach.

Thanks Lemon.... will try on today!

Buy it twatters !! ( enabler)
12-14 also but I think it's really flattering and manages to hide all wobbly bits.
The maroon colour is lovely

Dinkydoos, could I please ask what size you bought? I too am 12-14, but probably more towards the 14 end at the moment.

Report
Dinkydoos · 01/10/2015 17:00

I bought a large. And at min I am more 14 than 12!!!
I also bought this that has just come. It's loose but quite like it ( and can eat big dinners in it!) Grin

Cambridge - Pepper berry have a nice black blazer at the moment

Report
pdxs · 01/10/2015 18:02

Otherwise, I've had some success with m+s and uniqlo for blazers... try a 2 button style (it's called 'lock and load' apparently. ..)

I can offer the Gap stripey dress I'm 32F and it's fab. Also love that I don't know if it's very dark navy or black, because it goes with both!

Dinkeydoos, I need to avoid you. Two dresses from hush now ordered.
