What boots are you buying for your dds this year?

Dd3 is 8.5 and needs some new boots this year. She's a size 2/2.5. Not sure what style to go for, there's so much choice. Would like something that looks good with both skirts and leggings. She doesn't wear jeans much.

She has her eye on her older sister's Uggs but I don't want to pay that much. Are there any Ugg style alternatives around?

Next do Ugg style boots that are a good "cheaper" alternative. They're still about £30 ish but they're better quality than a lot of the other cheap versions. They're proper suede too, iirc. DD1 used to have a pair a few years ago and they lasted ages.

Either DMs (you cant kill DMS! ebay is good)or Rocket Dog slopes , they have thick rubber sloes and eventhough they are suede they don't get wrecked if it rains.

my DD wore hers to death last year

I've bought DMs for my dd for winter. eBay bargain as they were £13 and don't even look like they have been worn. Indestructible they are!

Next have lots of nice ones and they seem well made. Dd (7) still fits into her Clarks ones from last winter so doesn't need any but she has tried these on and they looked lovely. She also wanted Ugg style but they looked ridiculous on the end of her tiny little legs.

They look lovely mum, they don't come in dd's size unfortunately, your dd must have tiny feet! Will have a look at Next though, dd will be in the older girls section.

Bigger sizes here

And yes dd is tiny! She would need a 10 from Next although she is 11 in Clarks.

I've found uggs to be useless for my dd's - not water resistant or sturdy enough IMO. Dd1 had DM's last year and they really hurt her feet.
I'm going to look at Startrite and Geox when I get the dc's winter footwear this year.

My DD's have some nice ( well I think they are ) biker boots from H & M. They look great with skirts/leggings/jeans.

They have some very nice ones in Next, will definitely look there.

Does anyone know what Lands End children's boots are like?

Dd had Lands End ones last year -Mollie?- and they still look really good, just hope they still fit! Check out Debenhams as it sometimes works out cheaper to buy from there with free p & p.
