Stylish really warm boots for winter

Please help!

I need to buy a pair of warm practical and pretty boots for winter. Something lined like Ugg boots but not typical Uggs; I hate them! Not riding type boots either or those cowboy ones.

I like brown colour and flat heels...not a fan of wedges either. Mid calf length.

Is there a boot that exists like this?
I'm 32 so nothing too frumpy either Grin

Tia!

I have these in black. They are lined with sheepskin so are very warm and are also waterproof.

Thanks for the replies! I forgot about this thread thanks to the hacking drama Hmm.

Gosh those Merrel decora chants look amazing! Just looked at the falcon coloured ones and I'm slightly in love. Do they keep your toes warm too? I really need something to keep my toes warm. How far do they go up the leg? They look shorter than up to mid-calf.

I have got a gorgeous pair of timberland boots. Waterproof and fleece lined and as I bought them online their child sizes go up to an adult 5.5 so bought the child's pair and saved over £100

I love the leather uggs that Dexter linked to.

ravioli, they look super warm, but I look strange in those types of boots. Maybe because I'm not that tall!

dexter they look fab too. Are they loose around the leg? My ankles and legs are quite skinny so would like something tighter. I saw some Ugg Elsa boots that were similar but they're not in stock anywhere.

Can you link them buttercup? I could get down to a timberland outlet store, but doubt they will have boots yet

Another vote for Merrell boots, I have the Captiva ones in brown. Keep your toes toasty and are mid calf length, in fact I can't wear mine until it's properly cold or my feet get way too hot.

MissRainbow, that sounds brilliant. I really struggled with cold feet last year during school run.

Sorry still trying to find where you can buy these from. Mine are bow 3 years old and even though I've worn them most winter days for the last 3 years still look good as new.

I think I've found the perfect winter boots - the Ugg Grandle.

They feel super warm and are waterproof. I think they look nicer than some of the other options too.

Yes I really like the Grandles too and am thinking I may actually buy them this winter.

Hijacking, sorry!
I was looking at the Merrells there.
I think captiva and another pair, really look good.

My question is on sizing. Do they come up small?

I found them a bit snug on my non too skinny calves and went from a 5 to a 6. The 6's aren't huge tho and I can fit a thicker pair of socks underneath when it's really cold but they are still comfy with thinner socks or tights.
There is a small elastic acted bit at the top which adds a bit of give.

dexter they look soooo nice pricey though
I have the Merrells but they're more ankle than calf boots I'd say. I wear them for dog walking

Geeky I have those and they are great in really cold weather but quite heavy/clumpy compared the Ugg and Merrell type boots linked to. I have old versions of <a class="break-all" href="//www.amazon.co.uk/Clarks-Womens-Casual-Nettle-Leather/dp/B00DPOMASS?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">these Clarks Ugg type boots that will be going into their 4th winter and they are my default casual winter boot as they are so comfy and warm.
