Help me find a bag for carting my lunch/paperwork etc to work

Hi all

I seem to haul an enormous amount of stuff with me on my commute that means that a handbag doesn't cut it. Currently I have a large handbag with purse, makeup, glasses, diary, phone etc and another free canvas tote bag containing breakfast, lunch box and snacks as well as any work paperwork and a book.

I think I could get this down to a smaller shoulder bag and a nicer large bag, but what should I look at? Any nice bags out there that can contain a folder of A4 paperwork, my book and my lunch that makes me look more professional?

Thanks

longchamp le pliage! Great for commuting as you can sling over your shoulder, they also last forever.

I have a Michael Kors open tote that fits my laptop, notebooks and lunch.

Served me very well for work & commute and now for uni.

I have this and I love it. I uses it for work overnighters too (with packing cubes!)

This may not be smart enough for you, but I've got one of these and they make it really easy to cart big stuff to and from work:

Jaeger have some lovely leather totes on their outlet site. I think they are about £50. Someone else on here recommended them.

Thanks all! Bovril - that's like a tardis bag - love it!

Will also look at the Longchamp and Jaeger options - it's about time I got something smarter!
