Which is the best one that won't slide my make up off? The higher the spf the better

My Mum uses the Aveeno factor 30, she has PLE so has to wear it everyday and says its been the best one for under make up and general wear.

Biore watery essence spf 50. Its japenese and they know how to do suncream! You can't even feel it on. Its amazing. I buy mine off Amazon. I'm on my second tube already.

Dellabob, do you use this with a moisturiser or just use it then apply make up?

Dellabob123 Thu 13-Aug-15 11:54:52

I use it on top of moisturiser it's that light and non greasy. then i apply make up

Boots. Sorry cant think of the actual name right now but white tube and yellow lid. I think there is spf 15,30 and 50. I use it as my morning moisturiser and make up over it.

I like Eau Thermale Avene Factor 50. It's water resistant and comes in a cream for dry skin, or an emulsion for normal to combination skin. It works well under makeup but is quite white so does take some blending. I buy mine from Boots

Superdrug do a Factor 50 non-greasy face one.

...... And it's shite. Don't buy it.

doesn't rubbing on the makeup rub off the suncream?

Bunbaker Thu 13-Aug-15 13:02:51

Would you not be better off buying a foundation that has a high SPF?

Giraffe5 Thu 13-Aug-15 14:27:43

I don't know if it would rub off when the make up is applied but hoping it sinks in.

I may be wrong but I've read that spf in foundation doesn't work as well. I use Mac which I think is spf 15 and still feel it's not strong enough

Is this for generally being outside or sitting on beach type of thing? Could you just wear sunscreen and dispense with the make-up if it is the latter?

Longtalljosie Thu 13-Aug-15 15:21:30

I use this: www.ocado.com/webshop/product/Sunsense-Daily-Face-SPF-50/68093011?ULP_CAMPAIGN_ID=40&gclid=CLSNk82gpscCFYIewwod-bwIjA

It's great - matte finish for a makeup base as well

WickedWax Thu 13-Aug-15 16:13:31

I use Clinique City Block, spf 40.

Biore for sure!

You can get it from Ebay. Some sellers ship straight from the UK.

Buying a high SPF foundation would definitely not be better!

Most foundation doesn't have a high SPF (mostly SPF 15 max) and isn't broad spectrum either. Plus it's applied v v thinly - you aren't getting the SPF on the packet at the density you actually apply makeup in real life.
