Another bra intervention pretty please

I intervened and got a 34gg, so far so comfy apart from it really isn't! I got a Freya moulded cup (I think a deco) from Debenhams and although I felt it nicely in the shop, in regular wear it is terrible :(

The cup gapes at the top of each boob by an inch at least all over, the sides dig right into my armpit bone/ cartilage and the cup comes right into my armpit. The band fits nicely and doesn't slip but it just feels like the cup is at least 3-4 sizes too big!!

Is it the design of the bra or just my odd Boobs? Please help because it hurts like buggery now :( and I can't afford to blow £32 on another bra to find the same thing happens!

Can you get to a bravissimo store to be fitted in person??

Moulded t-0shirt bra like the Deco are really difficult to get a good fit with and they don't suit a lot of people. They don't mould to your shape IYSWIM so if your boobs are a different shape then they're just not going to fit the bra properly, hence the gaping at the top.

It sounds like the 34 band is ok so I'd stick with that for now and try some un-moulded, un-padded styles to work out your best size (this can change from brand to brand and style to style). Balconettes work well for many people. Would you say that your boobs wide or narrow set? Fuller on the top or bottom (or quite even)? Are they quite shallow or do they project away from your body?

Thanks both, I can't get to bravissimo unfortunately - my options are house of Fraser, Debenhams or m and s Hmm

I would say fairly narrow set, not a huge gap between and the gore(?) on the 34gg Freya felt as though it was digging into one boob a bit
bit.
They are fairly even when thinking of fullness and tend to project away from my body but definitely do fit gg cups.

My preference for moulded came frothed coverage over the nipple and smoothness (as opposed to a lacy fabric) and usually plunges are more flattering to my Boobs....

It's all a nightmare really :( I've had to go back to my Ann summers 36 e's which do not really really cover the whole boob but don't hurt my armpit cartilage (if that's even a thing) unfortunately I got a bit evangelical about my new size so threw away my others and now I have one 36 e and one 38c

Neither of which fit

From your description I'd suggest trying a Freya Idol, at least one cup smaller. Alternatively a Freya half cup style although they have less forward projection.
