I'm a GHD girl, very very thick wild bush head hair Shock GHD's changed my life Grin. I've gone short (well shortest I've ever been) inverted Bob razored at the back, longer on top with side fringe and around my face. GHD still good but I need like babyliss big hair (that was useless when my hair was long) but a smaller barrel. Much smaller. I don't want curl I want the smooth/blow dried look. Shorter hair is sooo much quicker to dry/straighter I can't believe no more 45 mins each day! Still don't recognise myself without long hair Grin

I use the smaller barrel Babyliss 42mm . I find it fine for my short bob.

That's the one I have and before when I've had a shorter Bob would've been fine my hair is just too short now. Braun cordless hot brush do they still make such a thing??!!!!

It sounds as if I have the same hair cut as you. Very short at the back and longer at the sides and on top. You have to dry the shorter hair with a vented brush and then rough dry all over with a hairdryer, When almost dry, use your products and use the hot brush only on the lengths.I then use my GHD's to smooth the lengths and put in velcro rollers.
I don't know about the Braun cordless I'm afraid. If it's the one that uses/used to use a gas canister I had one many moons ago.
