Cream to powder foundation

Can't be bothered applying and blending all over liquid, and have to be up and out early most mornings with DD. So last year, switched to cream to powder foundation and I love it. Great coverage of my acne scars and uneven patches. Quick to apply, idiot proof, no more orange hands and smeary gearstick lever.
The only problem is I go through it like billy-o, I'm not even getting a month out of one compact lately and it's £14.50 No7 Stay Perfect
Anyone know of any even slightly cheaper alternatives?

I use this one with a little sponge, or a brush. It has fab coverage (my skin is horrible: spots and lines, huge pores, broken veins, dark circles) but unlike the compact ones (especially applied with a foundation brush) it lasts for ages.

Hmm, never thought about trying the mousse ones, thy do look good but I need quite heavy coverage, I'm thinking it might be a little light for me?

Anyone tried this Avon cream to powder?
