Compact foundation for dryish skin?

I was wondering if anyone has come across any compact type foundations that have worked well on dry skin?

I fancy getting one as they are less faff than liquids and sponges, and I only need fairly light coverage and shine reduction. I had a Benefit one a few years back, but any other recommendations would be really helpful.

TIA!

Ooh watching. I don't have time atm for faffing with foundation but do definitely need some cover - this could be the answer.

MAC studiofix is a very easy to apply compact foundation - I can't comment on how well it works on dry skin, though.

Collection (formerly Collection 2000) is very good and very cheap, but the packaging is rubbish. Might be worth a try if you don't want to carry it around with you. My skin is fairly dry and this one feels and looks very natural and comfortable.

I have consciously felt a lack of stretching within my skin. A amount of suppleness is also there. Early days but the results are good.

I love my BB cream cushion. My skin is too dry for proper compacts (constant flaking). I use the Missha Magic Cushion and it's quite sheer but really nice. L'Oreal and Kiko do cushion compacts too.
