Eye make up remover recommendations?

I've recently tried Tesco own eye make up remover pads, Nivea Gentle (might have been sensitive) and Wilko eye make up removers & was not overly impressed with any of them.

I've just put a dual phase Nivea one in my Tesco basket but wondered if there's anything anyone would recommend?

I find the best one for removing everything, including waterproof mascara is the simple eye make up remover cream (not the clear lotion).

Micellar water is great. Either Bioderma or many of the other brands do one now such as Garnier.

Dermalogica pre cleanse is the best I find

Agree that Simple cream is fantastic. Or baby lotion for a very cheap alternative.
I tried Gatineau Floracil ($$$) and it was utterly awful, left me with massive panda eyes.

Boots cucumber eye make up remover. It's 1.50 and I've found it to he better than expensive stuff. I have sensitive eyes, it's never irritated me and shifts waterproof mascara

ohido, I'll have a nip in on friday for some (just hope these tesco makeup remover pads last - at least they get some off and then I go over it again in a morning)

Johnsons baby oil, micellar water, Clinique take the day off eye make up remover.

Loreal micellar eye make up remover gel, not the micellar water make sure it's the gel.

I've tried LOTS over the years, including expensive ones. For me, by far the best is a damp cotton pad with a squirt of baby oil. It lifts even the most stubborn waterproof mascara and is very gentle. Then I cleanse as normal and have never had a problem with grease on the eye area. Its cheap as chips and works better than anything else so that's what I stick to now.

The Boots no.7 one is good, gets mascara off without troubling my sensitive skin. It's £7 a bottle but wait until you get one of their £5 off no. 7 skincare vouchers, then it's only £2, and lasts ages. It also looks pretty - it's all blue and sparkly.

I did a beauty therapy course (not that you would know) and baby oil is not recommended around the eye area at all

I hope not to offend people but I am sure she said it was something to do with the oil collecting in the under eye area

I have very sensitive eyes and bioderma aggravated them. It took me a while before I realised that was the culprit. Same problem with several other make up removers. I now use body shop camomile and also rosewater from the turkish supermarket and they both seem to have settled the redness around my eyes that I was experiencing. HTH

Ponds Cold cream great for mascara, moisturises and it conditions lashes can't beat it

Believe me I have tried them all, recently I bought Body shop camomile the one for waterproof mascara and have been really pleased with it as it actually does what it's meant to and no stinging either so really recommend it!

Coconut oil washed off with face muslin and hot water followed by Aveeno moisturiser.

I have horrendously sensitive dry skin

I won't use mineral oils on my skin, but in emergencies I've found plain sweet almond oil works really well. Better than proper removers, actually- not entirely sure why I don't use it all the time.
