Can I do anything about my baggy hideous neck?

I had weight loss surgery a couple of months ago and have lost 4.5 stone in 10 weeks (sadly I've still got around 10 stone to lose), unsurprisingly, my skin can't keep up with the fat loss and I'm getting increasing baggy.
My thighs are a sight to behold and keep wobbling for quite a while once I stop moving but at least I can hide those.
My neck however, is another matter. I had a huge double chin which has mostly diminished now but I'm left with a horrid turkey wobble and really weird 'stripes', add to that the nasty texture of the skin, very visible pores and the odd spot and it's not a pretty sight.
Is there anything that can be done? I know it's never going to be wonderful but are there any miracle creams/serums that will help?
The pic is of my neck, what's with the weird skin texture? I don't like it!

Or a big bulldog clip :)
Losing slowly you should be ok, your skin will hopefully keep up with the loss. I hope so.
I'm just going to be a big puddle of skin though aren't I? :)

:) maybe we should just embrace our turkey necks.
I don't want to!!
Please lovely S&B gurus, what can Fanny and I slap on our wattles?

I think that surgery would be the only option to remove the excess skin from your thighs and your turkey neck. If weight is lost gradually the skin usually adjusts but not if its removed surgically. I do face exercises which do lift the muscles in my face and keep it uplifted but not sure if that would help you or not. Sorry not much help.

I will probably have a tummy tuck, new boobs, arm lift and leg lift if o manage to lose all my weight. Looks like I'll need a neck lift too then. :)

Awwwww. You will deserve it after all that. Good for you. Can I ask how you have and are losing the weight? Such a big achievement. You should be so proud of yourself.

I had a sleeve gastrectomy 9 weeks ago, weight loss surgery. I know some people might think it's the easy way out but it's really not!
I've still got a long way to go. I've lost about 1/3 of my excess weight now.

Firstly, congratulations on your weight loss, hope you're feeling better for it :o)

Not sure about your neck, I'm always looking for a miracle cream for crepiness, though my neck is not baggy (yet!). I haven't found anything that makes a difference, but I do use good old Astral cream on my neck (and everywhere else). It's a great moisturiser for my very dry skin, and I feel that massaging it in helps my neck look a tad better.

Do you mind me asking how old you are? In the interest of fairness, I'm 45. My neck has similar vertical lines to yours, and in my case I've always thought it was simply slightly papery, crepey skin due to being older. When I stretch my head up and neck forward it's even more noticeable.

Sorry I don't have anything else to suggest, but I wish you luck.

Thank you. I'm 43. I think ive been lucky so far with wrinkles etc because I'm so fat, there's no wrinkles on a balloon is there? :) but as I shrink, baggy bits and weird lines are appearing. As I say, my thighs are a nightmare but they can be covered.
I do moisturise my neck twice a day with my normal face creams (LRP day & night creams) but maybe I should try something a bit richer.
I might get some of the 'firming' creams. It can't hurt can it? And the massage involved in rubbing it in is probably as beneficial as any cream.

Yes, there are benefits to having excess fat. I find when I lose weight, those lines from the nose to the mouth get much deeper, and I hate them. It doesn't put me off trying to lose weight but it does make me look older.

Regarding your skin texture, pores and so on, maybe there's some kind of treatment you can have to minimise them? My local college has a beauty salon and they do all kinds of treatments at a greatly discounted price. They do some kind of deep cleansing treatment that I can't remember the name of that's supposed to be good for prominent pores.

I recently gave in and spent a ridiculous amount of money on Elemis Pro-Collagen lifting treatment for the neck, and I can't comment on whether it was effective as all it did was bring me out in a rash! A lesson learned there.

As you say, the massage is probably as effective as any cream.
