I use a sensitive cleansing lotion in the shower every morning (and sometimes an exfoliant if my skin's dry) then moisturise using an oil free moisturiser. If I do anymore to my skin it gets spotty but mine is very sensitive.
I use whichever I make up remover or moisturiser I can get my hands on in the supermarket.
I don't always take off my make up at the end of the day, which I need to do. I blame my mum but she only uses soap and water with a flannel and I'm not convinced it makes much difference. She looks like she has aged like her mum and sister who probably take more care. I just like the above because they feel clean.
Thanks I really need to start taking my make up off at night too, that's my worst sin. I go through phases of cleansing, toning, moisturising, taking make up off, using a scrub etc and then go through phases of doing nothing. Just wondered if there's something I should be doing that I'll appreciate in the future. I agree about the water only thing as that's all my mum ever used and her skin is lovely, it's only recently she's started using all the creams and serums etc
Clarisonic mia used with a non abrasive exfoliatior like nip&fab glycol if cleanser 1-2 times a week.
Make up removed religiously yeah right every night with bioderma micellar water followed by Liz Earle cleanse and polish and either body shop vitamin E serum or Sisley rose masque depending on how dry my skin is.
The vast majority of the time it feels like a massive chore!
