Soft jersey blazers?

TattieHowkerz · 09/07/2015 00:03

I have a couple of informal blazers made out of soft jersey (heavy tshirt/light sweatshirt material, to avoid doubt). One from Topshop and one from Oasis.

I really like this style, just wondering of anyone has seen any in current ranges?

I'm sorry I cant link, but I have one from Jigsaw from last season. Have seen them there again recently. Mine was £49, I think....

Was it this one unsinkable? Sadly sold out which is a shame as it looks really nice.

Primark are pretty good for blazers like that. Also Matalan, I got 2 in there for £20 each a few weeks ago Grin

I love my own in white, had I known how much I would wear it I would have bought a few more indifferant colours. I will grab several next year as they are sold out now.

Gap have a grey one, which I think is in the sale. They often sell them and may have some more in for autumn.

They look absolutely awful on me, sadly. Gap have a nice grey one in the sale, but it has incredibly long arms - only buy if you are a gorilla.

Whistles do them - I think they're called 'double faced' or something.

Luckily I am gorilla-like, in arm length anyway. Most jackets look a bit Rodney from only fools and horses on me. So I'll check that one out!

Has anyone found a decent casual blazer in a petite fit?

Uniqlo.

H&M had a lovely one when I was in there the other day.

Oasis have them in pale pink and lilac, in the same style they did (and I bought) in pale grey last year. I really like it, but it's a bugger to iron- the combination of floppy outer bit that needs to be ironed, slippy satin lining that slides off the board and shoulder pads that leave imprints makes for considerable flustering.

I have the Jigsaw Flame jacket in navy, it's like a jacket-cardi hybrid. They still have it in navy at full price and in khaki slightly reduced here mobile.jigsaw-online.com/products/cotton-flame-jacket-10857

Thanks Mary, I like that! Might have to branch out from my jersey blazer fixation.

I have followed up the leads on this thread and haven't found quite what I am looking for yet... The sort of thing is unlined, no buttons. I know there will be one out there, somewhere!

Yes snow! Unfortunately I'm looking for a 10 (not available online) but I might go and see if they have it in stock, and check out Oasis at the same time.
