Nair Tough Hair?

I've spend 10 minutes laughing about the Immacced baby but I still don't understand if it's a good idea.
My bikini area is in need so I've bought some stuff. Waxing & shaving give me a hideous itchy rash.
A lot of the reviews mention burning so I'll do a patch test but any practical pointers?

I love immac

Never used the hair stuff but can thoroughly recommend the immac suprem (their stupid spelling, not a typo!) essence hair remover

I have used it but still get the same problem with ingrowing hairs that I get with waxing and shaving. I think my hair is just too curly. It worked fine though.

Be careful, after reading that thread I thought I would give it a go- OMG after about 30 seconds I was in agony down below, tried wiping it off but skin and blood came off too Confused jumped in the shower to wash it off in the end.
I'm never ever ever ever trying it again, I was raw and sore for weeks after!

Thanks for the comments. Yes Goblin that's exactly what i was wondering Grin.

Very concerned about March's comments, I'm off on hols and the weekend.
Did you patch test first?

The instructions say 24 hours, how on earth can you keep a dot of cream on for that long?

Non- is the patch test not to use as normal on an inconspicuous bit and then wait 24 hours?

I've never done a patch but I'm quite wild like that Grin

I didn't do a patch test down below but I use the cream for arms, legs toes so I thought it would be OK Sad

Reporting back.
Apart from the rather noxious smell it worked. Slapped it on, used a timer for 5 minutes exactly, scraped it off with the spatula, all good.
No burns, but still a few follicles visible to I might try a bit longer next time.

I found it more effective - I usually have to reapply the normal stuff half way through and leave it on beyond the maximum time.
