Fresh/Clean Perfume Help

It's my birthday next month and, as I am pregnant with DS2, the usual clothes/booze are no goes! I am therefore thinking of asking for a new perfume instead.

I'm looking for something that just smells clean, like laundry/soap I guess without being overpowering.

I have a few Jo Malone's, the Early Grey and Cucumber being my current favourite but its still not quite right.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received!

I have not tried these but with names like cool and warm cotton I am tempted. Desperately trying to find testers...

Demeter (or the The Fragrance Library in the UK) do one called 'Clean Laundry', I like it (along with Gin and Tonic). Boots online.

I think O de Lancome has the cleanest smell of all, but it is quite citrussy. A beautiful perfume though.

If you look on eBay for 'Clean' brand perfume they do some nice ones - I have one that smells like soap, I think it's 'Clean Cotton' and a lemony one that's really nice - think it's the original.

How about Philosophy Pure Grace - the description on the website is pretty wanky, but sounds like it might be what you're looking for:

"feel cleaner and more graceful than ever. pure grace spray fragrance (eau de toilette) is our infinitely clean fragrance in a concentrated form. clean and universally appealing, this soap and water scent is the perfect fragrance for anyone who wants to feel as though they just stepped out of the shower. pure grace features pure, crisp soap and water notes, creating the simplest, cleanest scent imaginable."

Hermes un jardin sur le nil is very fresh without being overpoweringly citrusy. I also like the Jo Malone earl grey and cucumber but the Hermes is my fave for summer.

QVC have a Philosophy Todays Special Value today ( I think it's sold out but they might have on Advanced Orders)

I don't like the Pure Grace it smells like fabric conditioner. I like "clean" but not laundry clean on me

I asked this exact question a few months ago and benefit bathina came up trumps for me. It's not a perfume but a body mist but lasts longer than some perfumes on me

Philosophy pure grace is also a lovely clean scent

I absolutely love Fresh 'Lemon Sugar' - it's a bit girly; it's sort of a sweet lemony scent, but very subtle, with an undertone of something...no idea what, but it's definitely the 'cleanest' smelling perfume I have ever worn.

Yes to the Fragrance Library Clean Laundry, in bigger branches of Boots. I don't like the Gin and Tonic one, but I do like Grass, that's nice and fresh.
