Hi all
I love the tea dress style but not sure if it would suit my body type
I'm 47, 5'5 and am currently a size 18 Shock
My top half is bigger than my bottom half, however I have a smallish bum but awful tum
I'm fed up of wearing tshirts n 3/4 length leggings in this heat, I want to look stylish (for a change)
Any ideas oh wise ones? Grin

I think they would suit you, I think they flatter most body shapes. If you have a look on the lady v London website you'll be able to see girls of all sizes modelling the dresses.

You're welcome :) lindy bop also do nice dresses, though I've never bought one from there so can't comment on the fit, quality etc, and also Vivien of holloway, though it's more expensive.

I've had a couple of Hepburn dresses from lady v and they are gorgeous.

Little Wings Factory
Clarence and Alabama
Nyla Rose
Lady V
...All nice repro firms.

Also for the price of Viv of Holloway but much nicer you should try "Heyday!" if you want something classic and long lasting.

There's some gorgeous dresses on those websites I'm sending you lot my credit card bill!! but what really bugs me is when they don't give the length of the dress - I like it to come below my knees but without knowing the length or even the height of the model it's impossible to know without having to contact them. Grr.

I second hell bunny. You can buy on Amazon too...

As a short fat apple shape I can confirm tea dresses and cardigans are the way forward!
