Can anyone help me ? I'm only 5' and my top is a 14/16 my bottom a 14 .
I'm fat around my torso .

I have no idea when it comes to clothes - where to look or what suits me .

have been thinking something " boxy " .

I'm always in trousers and guess I need something quite short ?

Very grateful for help/advice .

Thank you both so much .

I've not looked at everything on the Oasis site but fear I'm shopping too late in the season ,a lot of it seems unavailable in a 16 . And it does look rather long ,i suppose I need petite .

The M&S one looks good ,but would no doubt quickly be stained . But it's a good style ...

how about this?

What about this? Probably still available in store. I tried it and rejected as it was slightly too short on my uber long body so might suit you.

Uniqlo tshirts are great if you want something casual. They're quite thin and not super clingy (the supima cotton/modal ones). And they do a "boxy" fit: www.uniqlo.com/uk/store/goods/136277?r=1495468462442074086

Ooh you are clever and helpful people .

Liking the seasalt one but would prefer a few inches on the sleeves .

Hadn't seen the Uniqulo ones - but not good reviews ?

Leaning very much towards the Zara one ,thinking if short and fat I need a bit of structure to a boxy top ,avoid floppyness .

There are several like this in the Boden sale...
For example

Abigain top

Heather top

I've got a couple of these, which are cool because of being a silk and cotton mix, and loose fitting without being sloppy-looking.

20% off at the moment. The price shown on the page is what I paid, so the 20% reduction will presumably be done at checkout if you quote the code given. (I think it's Holiday, anyway it's there on the page for you.)

Me again, don't be out off by the word jumper in the link. It's a gorgeous light material.

The Yours ones look good HelpMe and cotton as well (natural fibres not polyester, shops take note!) - what is the fit like?

GatoradeMeBitch Wed 01-Jul-15 16:21:22

So gutted the Zara top is sold out now! I love it!

mrsgpig Wed 01-Jul-15 17:50:39

HelpMe I love the look of the Yours top but would it be dress like on 5'2 me? Actually that might not be a bad thing - would be a great beach dress.

gingeroots Wed 01-Jul-15 18:51:17

mrsgpig - I think it probably is quite long ,this lin k had video and also says it's 31" long .

mrsgpig Wed 01-Jul-15 18:55:42

Thanks, I always forget to look for the measurements. Now I just need to locate a measuring tape.

HelpMeImMelting Thu 02-Jul-15 00:07:55

I'm about your height and it is quite long on me. I don't mind that though. I like them becuase they are cotton and are very cool!
