Recommend me a decent raincoat
(7 Posts)As above. All I have is 'fashion' raincoats, I need a good waterproof one for when I'm out a walk with DS.
Preferably black. Would quite like some colour inside the hood & if I were to roll up the sleeves. I want something still a bit fashionable looking but that actually does what it says on the tin.
Any recommendations folks?
What is your style like?
Everyone raves about the Sea salt ones here. I have a Stutterheim that I love.
I don't really have a style since DS, it's more a case of if it fits I'll have it in every colour please! Still can't get into my normal shoes 10 months later or put my rings back on
Seasalt look good & there is a sale on but nothing in black with a bit of colour but I'll keep an eye on their website for new stock, thanks!
Dare 2 be are good- not cheap but not stupid prices and very good quality. I have ablack one with pink piping and trim. Annoyingly mine didn't fit since I had my DS either
Im just going to get wet this year
I got a great one from Asos a couple of years ago. It's made from plastic, but is lined, so more comfy than a cagoule. I am on my iPad, so can't do links. I have a autumn /winter one from Joules too.
I've heard good things about Protected Species's coats:

Another Stutterheim fan here, again not cheap, but so worth it and they last forever.
I know not everyone wants clothes that last forever, but a not leaky macs a good thing.
