Where is the best place to get high waisted jeans from?

I'm slim, size 8-10, but after 3 kids I have a bit of a mum tummy. Plus I am long in the legs and shorter in the body, so low rise jeans just don't do me any favours at all!

Can anyone recommend any good high waisted jeans? Preferably under £50 if possible.

Thanks in advance

I got a really nice pair in Mango last week. It's not somewhere I normally shop, but I was away and didn't have much choice. Might be worth checking out

Sainsburys used to do great jeans. Not bought any in a while since I'm pregnant though so not sure if they have high waisted ones in store at the minute. Usually their jeans are at very least medium rise.

Ooooh thanks Flywheel. I'll have a mooch on their website as we don't have a store locally

Thanks Helen, I'll check out Sainsburys too!

American Apparel make the best high waisted jeans imo.

Next Lift,Slim and Shape are my favourites and come in various styles - slim, skinny etc.

M&S limited edition skinnies are amazing at the moment although I prefer the thickness of the white and khaki ones they've got to the ankle zip ones.

These are fab they say leggings but the material is actually really supportive and they have a high waist.

I'm the same size as you and have the short body problem too! I live in new look jeans (mat leave) - good fit and good value.

I don't do any other new look clothes apart from their high waisted skinny jeans. I bought some 1 and half years ago that my 16 year old ds has nabbed off me, he wears them ALL the time and they are STILL going strong! I've just bought two new pairs that are all mine!!

These are lovely although I appreciate they are ££. Very flattering fit though.

Jasper Conran at Debenhams have some high waisted jeans that are nothing short of miraculous!

My dd3 is a similar size and shape to you and she finds Top shop jeans the best fit for her I don't like the price though

Topshop, either Jamie or Joni are the best high waisted ones IMO.

They sell them in a variety of lengths too, they are meant to be ankle grazer but I just buy the longer ones and turn them up

I love Topshop Joni jeans

I've got these in both colours,

good for hiding my tummy and they also don't need continual pulling up at the waist like other skinny jeans I've had. They stay put. Also if I bend/crouch down they don't mysteriously push my knickers down so they feel all weird when I stand back up again. I'm really happy with them.

New Look. £22 of pure jeans genius.

I have three pairs. Lots of colours.

Go try them.

Report back!

New Look fan as well. They're fab!

Just saying....this is in 'discussions of the day' as 'where's the best place to get high'. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement!

Currently wear new look ones but find they don't last too long before they've faded or gone funny at the seams.
