Ideas please -Punk & Rockers party on a budget

I've been invited to a Punk & Rockers party (from any era). I know some are hiring costumes or buying them but I just haven't got that amount of money. Things I might be able to use are:

Black or blue (various shades) jeans
Black or tan boots, or black high heeled sandles
White embroidered blouse
Purple lacy top
Large white shawl with turquoise birds, have loads of turquoise jewellery
Long black beaded long necklace and bracelets
I can do heavy dark makeup or something with a touch of orange or pink and DD can provide dark or shocking nail varnish.

I have long chest length brown hair which can be worn up or down, straight or wavy. I don't fancy wearing a wig

My max budget is about £10, whether for a different top, leggins, some different accessories or whatever. DH says I haven't got to be precise, but I'm still at a loss.

Any ideas please!

Black jeans, boots and vest top, buy a cheap white or band T from Primark and slash it up, attach safety pins to hold some of the slashes together.

Heavy make-up - pale base, smoky eyes etc.

Optional choker style ribbon or leather collar/fake ear cuffs or nose ring.

Chop old opaque tights into lengths to make wrist warmers or roll/fold to make wrist bands.

Hair in two little high buns.

Punk on budget?

Head to the charity shop, get some shirts, jackets to rip up and put back together with safety pins. Add graffiti / spray paint, etc. Similarly, with ripped jeans or tights. Wear your heaviest boots. Accessorise with a dog collar.

Hair. Back-comb like crazy and spray a colour over it.

Thanks for your replies, so far. We have a couple of local charity shops so will see what they've got in there, although, as mentioned Primark will be great for something cheap I can reck!

There's a lot you can do with a roll of black bin liners. Very authentic.

Curl your hair. Buy yourself a cheap top hat off eBay. Black jeans, boots and t shirt. Obligatory cigarette and bottle of Jack. Viola! Slash off Guns n Roses.

Don't thank me Wink

the bottle of jack would bust the £10 budget

Skinny black jeans (ripped or normal) with black boots of some description. Then head to primark / forever 21 or new look for a band t shirt / long vest. You can get something like Ramones, guns and roses, Motörhead, Nirvana etc in many different styles of colours. If you are slim I would go for a long vest style if not then go for a t shirt.

Tartan might also work if you have anything in your wardrobe already - I'm thinking tartan dress with tights and boots or tartan trousers with plain black top.

I would go with big hair with a bit of wave / curl. Nails I would do dark - red, black, purple etc. Black leather or chunky silver type costume jewellery - maybe an ear cuff?

Makeup I would say plenty of black eyeliner and either a bright red or really dark red lipstick. Don't do black - only die hard goths can pull off black lipstick.

Floisme - lol. Real punks don't dress like that. You've just described a halloween costume.

Primark have Ramones tshirts and a few rock inspired ones too.
One of those with black jeans and doc martens style boots and you'll look like me any given day and you'll look pretty appropriate plus it's all wearable/non costume.
